I was not hungry when I was walking the street, then I saw their pork pastry and I told to my wife: I have to try that! And we did it and I don’t regret at all, amazing pastries! Lovely food for a cold day

A big hmmmmm. Coughlans used to do superb food (when I bought years ago from their Reigate bakery) but now it's massively overpriced and I have yet to try anything nice from there. Biscuits taste stale and pastries/cakes lack taste and are either overly sweet or bitter and under baked. Not sure what went wrong.

We ordered a cake for a gender reveal party from here. They promised they would be able to do what we asked which was just a plain 4 layer cake with a pink and blue drizzle down. When it was collected, the assistant only admitted that they couldn’t do what we asked but had also attempted to do the drizzle herself. It ruined the cake, we had to redo the icing on the cake ourselves. Worst part is that this was the day before the party. So thank you to Coughlans Bakery for ruining my sister’s gender reveal party! Don’t ever buy any cake from them, they lie and make false promises and then shrug their shoulders when you collect the cake. Oh and there were only 3 layers not 4 as agreed and promised!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm.the big issue seller in Horley and visit your shop 2 times a week but today was a bad day for me but I had enough money for a hot pie and to my shock a lovely young lady behind the counter gave me a free one and it was a dream come true cos my day hasn't been good but as long as I've food each night I don't care so plz plz thank your staff and I will let everyone in Horley no what kindness your staff did today.

Every time I have been to the horley branch the cakes and baked goods are so so good.

I am sorry but Lidl bakery nearby is ten times better. Sloppy bakes, mist drenched in sugary glaze. Poor synthetic taste. Just horrible.

Lovely bakery with lots of vegan cakes, biscuits and treats, all delicious as I got nearly a sample of everything on display! The freshly baked bread is really good too, as their filled pasties. The only shame is they don't have a couple tables inside to have a coffee and a cake, but hey nothing is perfect. It's the kind of place one always comes back to when in town centre.

Been a few times since it opened…ridiculously delicious! Top notch bakery, fantastic staff and the 4 for 3 deal is always hard to say no to! Reasonably priced in my opinion and hope they stick around in the town. Highlight so far: Cinnamon Twisted Donut 10/10
