I have tried on several dresses in several bridal shops in the Wakefield area and I can honestly say Cottage Bridals stands out from the rest in the best way possible.

I received great service from the owner Julie, (who is a god send) she was absolutely lovely and made me feel so comfortable from the second I walked in. As well as the other staff members were just as fabulous!

I ended up getting my Bridal dress as well as Bridesmaids and Groomsmen! All fitted beautifully after alterations and all matched beautifully just how I wanted it!! LOVE IT!
And I also received a lovely discount!

Can not compliment the staff, service and quality of the products in Cottage Bridals enough!

I know I was indecisive and a bugger for messaging out of work hours but thank you so much for all your help and all your time!

My wedding was beautiful and exactly how I wanted it! And the biggest part for me was the wedding outfits! Thank you again! I've tagged my photos to the Facebook page! Xxxxx

Such a shame but definitely needed only 1*.. the woman when I first went was lovely as it was very difficult for me to get up often for fittings etc as I live in London. She was very attentive with the dresses and getting me extra length etc. However, when I got the dress on with my heels (and yes I did try it on when I picked it up but without heels) it was clearly obvious that no alterations had been made.. with in minutes of putting it on I had ripped a hole in the bottom! Such a shame! Very expensive dresses to buy for them not to be altered and they even came in plastic bags. Not the kind of experience you want when you have just spent £1000 on 7 dresses!!!

Not sure how I feel about this bridal shop as the first time I went, I went looking for a wedding dress and the lady who assisted me was actually really polite and helpful. I was aware that this was not the main woman in charge of the shop, however, she was very attentive and professional. I didn't purchase my dress from here but after a lovely service I did go back looking for bridesmaid dresses, only to wish I hadn't. The woman I was met with became very rude and abrupt when I told her that I was only in the process of looking. She became very uninterested once she realised she wouldn't be getting a sale from me that day. I was also told by this person that as I was getting married abroad that I would only have a few days in which to order the dress as it wouldn't be ready in time only to be told by 3 other bridal shops that this was not true. To top it all off I discovered that the very rude and disrespectful woman was the main one in charge. I would CERTAINLY NOT recommend this shop to anyone.
