Staff inside are great, and friendly.. the management seems to be lacking in understanding. Might as well call this one no stock co op. During the school holiday there is no food left and the management doesn't understand this is terrible. Probably sat in their warm office watching videos on their phones.

As Co-op is being held to ransom at moment for those who don't watch or read the news the shelves are quite bare at moment so be warned that you may not be able to get what you need at the co-op ☹️

Went there today, couldn't scan an item and was having some trouble. A nice member of staff called Tom quickly assisted me and scanned the item. Nice coop, just wanted to mention the friendly staff!

Well stocked with the sort of prices you expect from a Co Op convenience store eg not the cheapest for most things. But if you have a Co op card you can get discounts off a lot of items. Good selection of food to go like sandwiches/drinks and fresh bakery items plus fruit and veg. Offers local and national papers but don't necessarily expect them to be out when the shop opens at 7am - especially at the weekend. Freezer section is smaller than expected. Post office inside is an asset. Staff of both the PO and supermarket are always friendly. There's a free to use Co Op branded cash machine outside, and of course most banks allow you to withdraw cash over the counter at the post office too. Free parking directly outside - if that's full there's more at the rear of the store. One star is removed as they introduced two card only self service terminals. I'd expect the co op not to participate in normalising making it harder for the cash dependent to access food. Obviously those who try to shop ethically don't use card only tills and the tills have not done much to reduce queues.

This is the only shop for me within walking distance and I’ll avoid it like the plague until the day I die, absolutely hellish place. No matter how quiet it is you should expect the waiting time for the queue to be 3-5 business days. There is never enough staff, there is usually spills everywhere and the staff you do have, have absolutely no sense of urgency or customer service. Ridiculous place.

Great store, very handy for holiday park. Good selection of groceries. Lots of convenience food on offer for quick holiday meals. Also good for fresh fruit & veg. Bakery fayre very tasty. Staff friendly and helpful. Joined co-op for £1 to get even more savings.
