A bit shocked to have gone to the coop this morning to buy a sandwich for work and been chased after by a member of staff to swap my sandwich. Thinking nothing of it I continued on and bought it only to discover once lunchtime came at work that it was yesterday's date and a bit stale. Sorry, COOP, but that was not at all acceptable.

Ildi goes above and beyond for customers in the store, always so happy and smiley. I've had several panic attacks whilst in the shop and she always does her best to calm me down, reassure me and offers to grab the rest of my shopping for me. She is always so helpful not just with me but with every customer she serves. I had a friend that has recently passed away with leukaemia and when he used to go in to do his shopping Ildi would cater to his every need. She always asks how you are, especially if she can see you looking upset/ not your usual self. She is not just a shop assistant and a great worker, she is a lovely friend. Always brightens my day when I see her.
Very hard worker that deserves alot of recognition.

James who works their ALWAYS goes out of his way to welcome and speak to EVERYONE that comes in that store. This has to be the friendliest coop store I HAVE ever been in. It does not matter whether raining or sunny he always smiles and always greets all customers with a hello , how are you . Despite everything in the whole there is not many shops I go in on a regular where staff actually go out of their way to speak to you. So WELL DONE JAMES ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Good range of ever day groceries and they usually have a range of special offers.
Prices are competitive and products are generally well inside their best by dates.
Green grocery, bread,and milk are always restocked daily.
Although this is a small store it is centrally located and always popular with locals.
Well worth a visit.

A good town centre CoOp that has everything you need. Good bread and milk selection and at night they are very good for drinks. I went in to buy a bottle of wine to take to a friends house. There is a great choice and a large chiller for the while wine and beers too.
