Just came back from the shop to find out the kale that I had purchased for my rabbits and guinea pigs was out of date!!
Products should be on the shelf until expiry, Disgusted by this as my animals could've gotten seriously ill!

The household cleaning range should include some of the popular brand & not simply Co-op branded. This way customers have a choice of which priduct they prefer.
Very underwhelmingly that a convenience store does this for its customers.
If your particularly seeking frozen meals, grocery items, alcohol & spirits you will find it is available at this branch.

Ordered a few items from deliveroo, using this co-op. Mushrooms were brown and slimy, obviously out of date. Quiche and Strawberry Jam cream doughnuts were use by today, no shelf life. Bread was already opened not sealed. Ordered 240g Dairylea cheese in a tub was sent a couple of triangles, still charged for the tub. Phoned shop, totally disinterested, told me to contact deliveroo which I did. Really bad produce dates and bad attitude of staff

Forget Heaven's Pearly Gates THIS is where we truly belong! A haven of Stevenage and England as a whole and a standard of beauty no shop in the world could possibly match. My grandson asked me for a PS4 a few years back, but I took him here instead! Safe to say he immediately forgot about that pesky games console he wanted XD

Fantastic shop, I call it my " second home" I'm here so much :)) Queues can be long, but realistically if I'm in a rush I'll order my food online or get there earlier instead of complaining like a degenerate.... ANYWHO 10/10 shop!

This is my local shop so I go there often & it has Friendly staff good deals & never had any issues with food being past its sell by date not only that but it's always clean in there so what more can you ask for. It's great for getting those odd bits here and there rather than going to the main shops like asda or tesco for one or two items you may want for example milk or bread specially with bread as often I find places like asda there bread will only have like a couple of days before the sell by date where co,op there bread lasts a week or longer in some cases so yeah definitely don't have anything bad to say about the place.

A good little shop which is useful when the supermarkets are shut or when you just need a few bits.

Most of the staff are friendly but I find one of them to be quite rude. Tonight an older lady in front of me asked the gentleman on the till to pass her the milk she had just paid for. His response was "is there something wrong with your arm?". I managed to restrain myself, just.

Very run down/dirty looking & fresh food looks tired & unappealing.
Personally I think it would be better for a Tesco to take over the property, they could bring the standards up!
