Despite being a local, I avoid this branch wholeheartedly nowadays due to this new creepy asian guard who stalks/stare at consumers opposite aisles! This is a rude and uncomfortable experience that is akin to harassment and distraction from carrying out our routine shop.

Discontinued breaded chicken nuggets and self service machines are quite unresponsive when scanning items or go off for no apparent reason! Overpriced for short shelf life foods. Okay but mixed reviews overall!

Secondly their security guards are so distracting and irritating and tend to follow you even when I was at the till for electric top up and guard would also stand gawping from the end of aisle whenever I'm looking at bread shelves making me extremely uncomfortable to the point where I cannot continue to shop for anything at all and walked out due to guard creeping me out! Hard to focus let alone shop with a shore stalker! Unacceptable!

Decent local shop, always well stocked but prices are slightly higher than normal for a lot of the items. Get on really well with most of the staff, but a few of the staff are really grumpy and look as if they hate their lives. To the grumpy staff, cheer up!!!

I'm not impressed with this store at the moment. The security guard is actually a bully and my 11 year old daughter has just come back in floods of tears after she was made to feel intimidated in the store. This is the 1st time she has been in since lock down and made a mistake by going the wrong way at which point the security guard just stood at the front of her so she couldn't correct her mistake. This was made worse by a rude shopper making her feel even more panicked by rushing her. Obviously I can't complain too much about the shoppers but the security guard is awful. He has been rude to me on several occasions but I am an adult and it washes off me. She is 11!

Convenient but a little pricier because of the convenience. Sometimes the cash self service till doesn't work or only accepts card. Cash is King.

I paid for delivery, received the wrong beer, three of the four bag handles had snapped. I received a yogurt that was two days out of date with a 30p reduced sticker on, that I paid £1.50 for ! The barm cakes had a few hours left in date. My delivery arrived around 8.30 pm and the date on the barn cakes was the next day

Chicken Balti chilled ready meal 425gm is excellent - really tasty, perfect texture and balance between curry and pilau rice, fresh natural taste with lots of flavour, nice and spicy but not over the top. Probably the best I've ever had and really good value for money with an offer for two at the moment. Buy with confidence.
