Extremely Disappointing Experience
I had a very unpleasant experience at co op cafe The staff were not only rude and unhelpful but also displayed discriminatory behavior. As a wheelchair user, I expected basic courtesy, but instead, I was met with eye-rolling and judgmental looks when I asked for assistance. The lack of respect and professionalism was truly unacceptable. I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for a welcoming and inclusive environment.

Easily found at one end of town..
Car park outside thats very large.
Costs 40p per hour, 60p for 2 hours, 90p for 3 hours or £2 for 4 hours, or £4 all day.
Parking is free after 4pm.
Tickets can be reimbursed inside at the kiosk.
Medium sized supermarket with lots in.
A cafe inside to the right as you go through the entrance.
Self serve check outs and a few with cashiers.
Service was fast and efficient.
I cannot fault this supermarket and find it to be helpful and convenient within the town.

Good customer service. Self scan and payment section let you do it faster than other local super store.
Many items in the shelf, big alcohol section.
Usually Not enough vegetables and the prices are little bit higher thank nearest Lidl and Aldi.
But still we like shopping here nice and clean.

I called last week to pick up some items using the self-service and noticed that we had picked up the wrong item. We couldn't figure out how to delete it, so we looked for a member of staff. One lady was busy on the till, and another staff member was on the phone. We waited for her to finish and asked if she could delete the item. She came over, but didn't acknowledge either of us, just took the item and went off without saying hello or making eye contact. We both found this behavior extremely rude and were quite unimpressed.

The ignorant duty manager refused to open the toilets for someone with a hidden disability. If you are disabled avoid this branch run by a man clearly on a massive power trip. I shall be forwarding a complaint to head office citing the equality act.

This is the largest Co-op that I have ever been in. It even has an in-store cafe which we couldn't sample but looked great. We went in on a hot Sunday afternoon for some ice creams and it was like a cool oasis.

The shop itself is modern and clean with wide aisles and is well-stocked everything you'd expect from this size Co-op. There is a bank of self-checkouts as well as the more traditional tills to make life easier for everyone.

The shop has its own car park which is pay and display, but if you spend a few pounds in store they will refund the cost of two hours of parking. I don't know how this works as we hadn't parked in the car park but I'm sure the staff would sort it without any hassle.

The staff in the cafe today was very rude. They were not willing to help .they have no respect for wheelchair users .
