This is 1 of many times I’ve gone to grab some bits & the shutters are down. Tonight I went & they said “there has been an emergency in store” - baring in mind the staff are pottering around?

I got to the store at 10:45pm & they close at 11pm apparently.

I feel like they make up their own rules & do not abide by their displayed trading hours!

First I get someone else's order then after reordering I get clearly rotting food and wrong items along with missing items, this co-op is honestly the worst store. Every order there are issues, if I wasn't disabled I'd not shop from there

It is a very convenient shop, most of the staff are very friendly and helpful. However, I go there less often due to them playing loud music and they seem to never have cat litter, occasionally I get lucky to find one. The other issue is that the staff should not be smoking next to the shop entrance door, it is not great for the store advertisement. I go to Tesco instead as I find the staff there provide more effective customer service and serves fast without having to stand waiting for someone to notice you.

Ordered only 5 items from this store via Just Eat. One was missing and another was something entirely different. I paid a service charge for this privilege.

Staff were very slow, and they looked miserable. Took a very long time to approve an item at the self-service checkout. I asked if they can approve the item. They listened, but was ignored. Five customers were also ignored. The store wasn't even busy.

Members of staff were treated appallingly by your manager in charge, I believe either the general manager or the staff manager of the store.
When visiting London and the store, I popped in to get a quick drink. Whilst in the store I saw an older member of staff being treated appallingly, being asked to do things she didn't seem physically able, such as moving large heavy carts/metal cages. She seemed physically exhausted but straight away a manager can over and asked her to go on the tills, but to finish what she was doing first. There were other members of staff around. This was upon entering the store. By the time I got to the tills she was already on the tills, she seemed exhausted and over worked and honestly so nervous of the manager. I
I would say this woman is in her 50's, short-ish hair, quite small.
I understand that you employ people to do a job, but when you can see someone physically struggling and demanding more of them is absolutely disgusting, they are not your dogs to treat as you will. If those people are damaged from your brutal work it will be at your hands, simply because you seem to have an incompetent manager who doesn't seem able to delegate effectively. From the looks of it I assume this behavior is accepted. I hope the employee finds better employment and you take a serious look at your management.
Before you are heaven forbid caught out for being ageist and possibly sexist. And if there are already complaints regarding this I would have to assume that CO-OP are complaint with this behavior from your managers, and maybe even train them to be so.
I hope you manager to re train this manager and find the member of staff I am speaking of. I will be visiting the store again in a week or so, and will hopefully get footage if anything such as this happens again.

Terribly inhumane. I saw a delivery man being practically humiliated by a person who works there, on the badge it says David. The delivery guy just asked a question and this gentleman came all rude and uneducated. Never go back there. I keep imagining that the delivery man is a family man, and a citizen like that does what he does. The coop should rethink who hires, because the unpreparedness is very high

Not even one star. Zero customer service. No one is on the counter - you have to walk around the store to get someone to serve you. Always lacking stock. The staff are rude; they don’t greet or thank you. Crack a smile people.
