This a convenience store and not a supermarket so goods are more expensive. It suits its purpose and can be useful as it stays open until 22.00 The self service tills are often not working properly and often one one member of staff on the tills themselves. There do seem to be plenty of staff in the shop stocking shelves but they seem to keep clear of the till area. They are friendly enough but badly organised

Co-op Food, High Street, Great Bookham... Rude staff, untidy store, very expensive parking alongside is not clearly marked as paid parking, not belonging to Co-op... so you are caught on CCTV camera and forced to pay for parking by the time you realise it's not part of Co-op / not free.... very misleading. Very unpleasant shopping experience. Will not shop there again!

Has never once had everything offered in-stock for delivery, ice cream arrived as a liquid although I don’t live far, substitutions are very poorly picked. Better to just shop in-person so that you get what you want 👎

Small Co-op store in Bookham Village, not very well stocked ! Every time I come here it appears that they are waiting for a delivery to arrive. Very expensive prices at least 20/50p more expensive per item compared to Tesco Express .

Honestly quite disappointing for a local supermarket. Always seems like the shelves are bare and lacking the staff.
Find it quite expensive too, thankfully Tesco is at the top of the high street full stocked and fairly priced.

Don't get me wrong, this place is fine but:

-Looks way bigger than it is. Actually missing what I'd consider to be quite important household goods. Like squirty cream? Why is there no squirty cream?

-Literally no one works here there are 3 people on duty at any one time. So you buy a bottle of beer and the machine wants alcohol approval and no one shows up. Pain.

-You have to pay for parking? What? Ridiculous.

Adequate choice of convenience items, biscuits, milk, loo roll etc. The ready meals based around mince I wouldn't feed to a dog. They are awful. The green grocer in the same high street far better for veg and the butcher likewise for meat. You wont get it much cheaper at this co-op it's convenience store prices not supermarket. The service is awful. Today I was left stranded at the ridiculously pnnickety self service tills for around 5minutes whilst a lady shouted at me from the tobacco kiosk she would get someone to help me. She didn't and continued to serve other customers. So I did what we should all do when confronted with poor service. I went somewhere else. Waste of time.

Not great in the lockdown. They police the door but the store is far too small to allow safe distancing while in there. Also not impressed to find when I got home that they'd charged me for a co-op reusable carrier bag. Bloody cheek, it was one I took in with me reusing it, now I know why they call them reusable bags, it's so they can stealth charge you for them everytime you go back in there and use them again.

Go up
