5 ⭐!!

Good feeling environment with music and warmth inside. All the staff are helpful, polite and kind with a ready to help attitude. The products are easily accessible. Clean and convenient. Near the signal and opposite to Aldi. Free car parking in front and street parking facility as well. Go on evenings as it is quiet and can find more reduced products.

They stock a lot of stuff, but the checkouts are always understaffed leading to long, long queue times and it is incredibly frustrating having to wait to to 10-15 minutes sometime when there's only one checkout open and everyone in line has baskets full to the brim. They have definitely reduced the number of staff on the checkouts and it's a terrible policy that I'm sure makes for slightly better quarterly reports, but an awful shopping experience.

Good shop overall, however checkouts are always understaffed leading to long queues, even when there are staff available to serve. Also a moody staff who never smiles and just throws your items.

I pop in to the Co-Operative often. Most often than not it has what I need. The workers do their job. I don't expect anything more from them. Not smiling at customers is not rude. I'm gonna head there in a few minutes, actually.

Being a co op - it is pricey. Parking can be difficult at times - but there is another road nearby where you can park too. Great for picking up last minute items and emergency basics - but expensive for a full shop. You do have an Aldi opposite, but this is less busy and therefore safer 🙂
