Cool Components had the best price, incl delivery, in the UK for the particular K&H breadboard I wanted. Communication from the company was great and the item was dispatched very promptly. I would not hesitate to recommend and will be buying from them again.

Initially I was very impressed, I received despatch notification of my order less than 15 minutes after placing it. On receipt however, the order was short by one item. This is where the problems start. The company has ignored 3 emails sent to both its published email addresses, and only operates a 'premium rate' phone line support number (in contravention of the Consumer Contract Regulations that prohibits helpline phone charges in excess of the basic rate for calls by existing customers to the retailer or trader about products purchased). So, if they get it right, probably a great company. If they get it wrong then they are not prepared to even talk about it, let alone rectify the issue.

UPDATE: Despite the response below, additional emails were ignored. They have managed to send me marketing material though, suggesting that this is not a matter of firewalls. It remains impossible to contact them by telephone through anything other than their premium rate number. I shall not use this supplier again.

Terrible customer service paid £42 for next day delivery of a £1000 order and it didn't turn up, when i contacted them to ask why I was told i would have to wait till the following week because they had account problems with their courier.They wouldn't use another courier so I told them i would arrange for a courier to collect the order myself. Next they cancelled my order without warning and tell me the item is now out of stock.

Made an order in the evening for a SNES style usb controller amongst other things, the following morning I realised I had picked the wrong style. I emailed customer support and asked if it was possible to swap before shipping. They replied they would look into it but didn't hear a follow up. A swift delivery revealed they had swapped the item for the one of my choice before dispatch. Very good customer support.
