My stepmum and I had such a wonderful time with Susan during our pottery experience session. She was clear, helpful, friendly and incredibly knowledgeable about pottery. Myself and my partner were gifted a “throwing experience” voucher at Combe Cottage. Right from booking to the actual experience, Susan was so helpful! As two complete beginners who have never done anything like this, Susan’s guidance and teaching was exceptional. Her talent and knowledge gave us 3 pieces of pottery each that we went back and glazed a couple of weeks later. We both thoroughly enjoyed it and will definitely be back!

What an incredible experience! Susan is great - we appreciated her instruction, guidance and patient support! With lots of laughs along the way!

It was our first time doing any form of pottery so getting to try our hand at the wheel and pinching was amazing. We were all proud of our pieces and Susan was most complimentary.

The most fun and creative afternoon and excellent value for the price!

We'll definitely be back - to make some Christmas trees, paint or just make more pots😍

What a wonderful experience! Susan is a fantastic teacher, offering fun, hands on, small group or individual sessions in her cosy, intimate studio. I came away with 3 lovely Christmas gifts that I had made for my family. I loved this so much that I’m hoping to book again soon!

Having seen the brilliant reviews of Susan's pottery course, I decided to take my Dad as a birthday gift. And how pleased am I that we chose to do this course with Combe Cottage Pottery! It's a really relaxed atmosphere (perfect for two people who've never thrown before). It was really fun, and at the end of it I feel like I've really learnt something new... plus amazed that I could create 6 unique pieces! Would definitely recommend this course to anyone!

Me and my sister had the best time creating our own original pottery pieces. Susan was an excellent and friendly instructor. She explained every step fully and the small class size made the experience feel personal. Would 100% recommend the 3-week experience to anyone interested in pottery 🙂
