Absolutely amazing food and drinks. Amazing customer service, came over and asked how things were, made sure everything was okay and if needed extras. Great prices for what you get. Very clean and pleasant service.

We went about 5 o’clock and it was a little quiet. Our food arrived quickly and was piping hot and really tasty. Excellent

We called in for something to eat when staying over in Hornsea. We won't be back.
The atmosphere was of thst eating in a rowdy pub. The service was non existent unless you asked for it (getting up or shouting them over) and the food was so very mediocre. The food either came out cold, burnt, not as we asked for it or with zero flavour.
Left a bad impression at the end when we went to change the kid in the disabled toilet where there was a cupboard open then was like a mini basement with mops etc the kid ran straight at, and the fact there was no hand drying facilities. When pointed out to the manager about everything we were given a sorry and thst "ooh you're right theres no hand drying in there".

Went here for dinner, was seated quickly, food menu was good and fairly priced. Food arrived quickly and was very nice, I got the margherita pizza, small nachos (quite a lot for small), stuffed jalapenos and the other half had fajita (pulled pork) there was too much food! But good 🙂 it did get busy which means orders and the wait staff took longer but that's to be expected when busy 🙂

Decided to celebrate our daughter in law's 40th birthday, with a meal.
It's been a while since we had a meal here, but thought it would be as good as our last visit.
How wrong we were!
Firstly we waited 20 minutes before I had to get the waiters attention to order pre meal drinks.
The tables, although clean had a sticky residue all over them, which was disconcerting.
The waiting staff in general seemed to be new and inexperienced, and didn't exude confidence .
When our food eventually arrived my wife's salmon was overcooked and incredibly small for the cost of £15😮
She returned it to the kitchen, and told them she didn't want a replacement.😡
My pork ribs, although substantial in quantity reminded me of the pork ribs you buy in a supermarket, from the precooked or frozen aisle. Again, for £15 was not value for money.
I thought I would have been served cooked from fresh pork ribs.
In saying all this Claud (owner)was very attentive and I thought, a bit embarrassed at my wife's refusal in having a replacement.
She was prepared to go hungary rather than risk of a further replacement that could again be unsatisfactory.
We know that MedMex is a popular restaurant in Hornsea, but think that the restaurant should look again at what it's producing for the quality, service and prices charged, if they are to continue to be popular in the future.
We certainly won't be returning to this restaurant.🫤🫤😕😡

Great choice of beers and drinks, friendly staff. Dog friendly pub. We didn't eat here, we just sat out and watched the world go by. Excellent location, will definitely visit again 😀

5 of us and the dog popped in for lunch on a quiet Monday afternoon- staff were super friendly, food was great and atmosphere was very relaxed. Lovely place
