We recently had a pair of curtains made for us, the quality of the finishing was superb, they are beautifully made (my wife used to work in a soft furnishings workroom and knows good quality when she sees it), they were hand-sewn with a high quality lining and the measurements were exactly as ordered. We are very impressed with the service and the helpful, friendly staff - thank you very much!

This shop has a lovely range of good quality fabrics. The staff were friendly and helpful. I bought some beautiful fabric to reupholster our dining room chairs and whilst the fabric is reasonably pricy, you get what you pay for and the quality is very good. That being said they had a good assortment of cut off pieces in the sale section which are plenty big enough for smaller projects like chair seats.

Fantastic couple of hours browsing and eventually buying some fabulous yarn. Staff were friendly, knowledgeable and available, so great customer service. Took regular tea breaks in their on site cafe, great customer service again. Lovely atmosphere. Am already planning my next visit!

What a lovely shop. It's an old world 3 storey haberdashery but it's modern too. Staff are very knowledgeable and helpful. Nice, well lit displays and plenty of stuff covering a wide range. Even has a lovely light, airy cafe with plenty of delicious looking fayre. It's a real gem, but it's the kind of store that's getting hurt by the online trade so I don't know how long it will last. Such a shame, we will really miss this kind of shopping experience. Once gone, gone forever. We really need to think harder about what constitutes good value. Cheapest is NOT always cheapest! And having knowledgeable staff on hand to help guide you MUST be worth something extra

We went to the cafe for a coffee. Good experience - I remained there while my other half went shopping. She got all that she needed and didn't have to put up with me milling aimlessly around! Everyone was happy 🤣

Everything you might ever need for sewing and knitting and much more. The staff are very helpful and the café is nice too. I ended up unexpectedly spending a small fortune there, so I guess the only thing I would want to improve is the pricing.

It's not our first visit to Winchester, but the first to this store, the staff in the haberdashery section were knowledgeable and although they couldn't help mrs Stilton this time they were able to give her some helpful advice and a contact. The store had a sensible and well marked route so even though the store was packed with goods, people had no problem with social distancing. The loos were also clean and tidy! We didn't visit the whole store because of time constraints but we will return!
