We had a really lovely stay at Claremont B&B. Room was spotless with comfy bed and pillows. Shower was also nice and hot - couldn't fault the room! Debra and Alan were super helpful and friendly to us in giving advice on local walks and restaurant recommendations. Breakfast was fresh both mornings and Debra even catered to my picky taste which was much appreciated!! All in all, a really wonderful stay for our first time in the Lake District and we would definitely return.

2 night stay in February. Centrally located, a short walk into Bowness centre. The family who owned the B&B are retiring from the business and as their last guests, they made us incredibly welcome. Thank you from Richard and Lindsay and we hope you enjoy your retirement

We received the warmest welcome the owners Deborah and Allan - they were so friendly and made us feel right at home.

They also try their best to cater to your dietary requirements when it comes to breakfast - and yes breakfast is freshly cooked!

The rooms were spotlessly clean, everything was dust free even under the bed!
Location was just a short walk away from town.

What a lovely place! The hosts were friendly, polite, and happy to accommodate little requests (I asked for an iron, and they actually went one better and ironed my shirt for me, which was lovely - thank you!). They are knowledgeable about the local area, and always up for providing recommendations.

Breakfast each morning is to order, and I would absolutely recommend the full English. My better half had scrambled eggs though, and I have to say they looked great!

The room we had was a huge one for the area, especially given you can end up paying four or five times the price for a “compact cozy double” at the dead posh place on the hill that we won’t name. Came with toiletries and everything we needed.

They have a rule that guests must remove shoes upon entry and I love this. Not only does it keep their lovely high pile carpets clean and fresh, but it makes it feel homely.

We absolutely will be back 🙂

We received a lovely warm welcome at the Claremont B&B, and enjoyed two nights in what must be the best value for money accommodation in Bowness.||||The B&B is perfectly located for all the town’s amenities — just minutes away on foot — while still benefitting from perfect peace and quiet on this pleasant street with plenty of parking.||||The breakfast was of the highest quality, cooked fresh and customised to our taste/dietary requirements. The shower was hot and powerful, and the bed super comfy. The room was spotlessly clean. All standard facilities were provided for — tea & coffee, wifi, tv, storage etc.||||Last but not least, you will not find better hospitality than that offered by owners Alan & Debra, who could not have been more friendly, helpful or welcoming during our stay. They were also very flexible when we arrived late because of motorway traffic, which we really appreciated.||||Highly recommended!

We both very much enjoyed our stay at the Claremont. The hosts are both very friendly, and they made sure our stay was as comfortable as possible. They gave us some very helpful advice on places to visit and how to get there. The room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was excellent. I would highly recommend the Claremont to anybody looking for a nice, warm, cosy environment to stay in on your trip to the Lake District. I will be recommending them to friends and family.|Thank you for a very enjoyable stay! We hope to see you again soon!

Absolutely wonderful stay, such a helpful friendly couple. Alan and Debra couldn’t do enough for us. Could not do enough for us. We love the area and we will definitely be returning. We had planned to return more this year but sadly haven’t been able to do so because of the virus. Definitely looking forward to returning to the apartment in the future. Excellent breakfast too!

We stayed in the downstairs apartment for 2 nights. It was comfortable and had everything we needed with more space for the two of us and our baby. The bnb is in a great location, just a short walk from the town. The owners were friendly and informative. Great breakfast. We would stay again.
