This place was a great find even if you’re not looking for clothing or trinkets in particular it’s worth a look around. They have some wonderful vintage pieces and some retro clothing we even found an original Swedish military jacket from the 60s which would be a great find for a collector or anyone with a retro style. Staff were friendly too and the atmosphere was relaxed with all around good vibes 😊

I used to really love this shop, not only did it have a warm and friendly atmosphere but it's truly beautiful. However my experience the other day was not what I am used to. I had bought a jacket knowing that there was a faulty zip but after attempting to fix it at numerous stores I found it to be more trouble than it was worth. I returned to the store to explore some options and I was offered to look at some replacement zips on Amazon, which I appreciated greatly, but they were never going to fit the jacket. I then questioned the possibility of a return ( I had bought it less than an hour previous) and I was told no which I completely understand as it is store policy. However I did begin to tear up as I spent £55 on something that couldn't be fixed. The reaction I recived was not entirely comforting, the lady serving me asked if I was really crying. This made me feel a hundred times worse as I was just embarrassed and I ended up leaving the shop in floods of tears. I would just like to raise awareness as you never know what someone is going through so let's be kind!

I've been looking for vintage clothes that fit me for a long time and must have visited dozens of shops by now, and this is definitely the best one I've been to. The selection is very varied (both in terms of sizing and have a variety of items from different periods) and every item is of high quality and in excellent condition. Best of all, the staff were very friendly and enormously helpful, knowledgeable about the clothes and happy to spend extra time working with me to try and find the sort of stock I was after. I will make sure to come back whenever I'm in the area!

Excellent catalogue of vintage finds from 2000 to 1960 mostly with a great selection of 70s stuff. Handful of really old stuff. Full of treasure and defo worth a browse. Found some lovely pieces and the staff were very helpful. Bigger than it looks with an upstairs and a back room.

If every vintage shop were like this, I wouldn't buy new clothes again. An exceptional collection of the very best vintage clothes around, with frequent new stock. It is refreshing to see a range of sizes, especially smaller sizings in men's clothes, and to not need to plough through hundreds of mediocre offerings before finding something interesting. Furthermore, the staff are extremely friendly, knowledgable, and willing to offer their time.

Great shop didn't know it was there,we had a look around on our way out the lady said there was clothes upstairs too. Didn't even realise that there was a upstairs but so glad we went up got a lovely ladies wax jacket a certain style I had been looking for, for a while now. Reasonable price aswell didn't realise until I got home it was a Barbour so even better. The lady that served us was lovely and genuinely pleased that we had found something I had been looking for, for ages. Thank you ☺️
