Service disappointing , ideally no star.
I waited so long for service. The lady being served was taking a really long time, and I could understand why the confusion was caused. It looked like she had had the wrong identity but instead in error had picked up the wrong parcel. It took over 20 minutes to realise the mistake! I was so pleased when she found it. Now my turn.

I was instructed to find my parcel that should be in the pile. It was not there. The man serving then advised that the parcel may have been returned or not arrived. I could see further back in the store a collection of parcels. I found my parcel. I said this place is disorganised. He took umbrage and shouted,'Then don't come back '. He was persistently rude. He did not leave the till as he was prioritising those buying alcohol and cigarettes on the queue. I do not intend to use this location again for my parcel.

Do not get your parcels sent here. When I tried to collect my parcel the barcode wasn’t working and instead of being friendly and helping the lady working there was so rude. She was watching tv when I arrived and sighed when I was waiting. Then scanned the barcode and told me to call yodel and she couldn’t do anything. The day before I was told to just search through the parcels myself and try find something, which I didn’t mind doing, I’d rather that than be sent away!

Extremely rude and unhelpful staff. The lady is very belligerent. This business does not fit in Cheam village where people are polite and nice.

I sent a parcel that was lost in transit and the courier company sent me a claim link to give to the drop-off point so that a claim from the courier company could be started, since this is the usual process the courier company follows to investigate lost parcels and process claims.

The shop says that if you drop a parcel and it's lost in transit then it's not their responsibility. They can't claim and have nothing to do with the courier company, except an app that they use to register the parcel. I came to know that this is a usual occurrence there.

So send your parcels at your own risk, or choose another drop-off location!

I am all for supporting local businesses but even one star is one too many for Cheam Village Newsagents.

Very poor service, returned an Amazon parcel and was told the machine wasn’t plugged in because the Amazon technician did not come in so my parcel couldn’t be processed. When checked with Amazon was told the shop drop off was operating fine. Obviously the owner did not want to take on the job and lied through his teeth and was not happy that I complained. Disgusting behaviour from a shop that is always messy and dirty and closes earlier than the advertised time. Avoid at all cost.

Went to collect my amazon parcel from here last week, as I walked in I noticed the shop has lots of stock and a wide selection to choose from as well as being very clean.
The man behind the counter was very friendly and made collecting the parcel very easy, will definitely use this shop in the future

One of the most convenient store, easy access, parking on street, close to train station hence very popular with locals and travellers.
The owner is super helpful person he will go extra mile to help and assist you, The store is also a Parcel drop off for most of the major couriers. DHL, Amazon, DPD etc....for DHL you dont even have to pack and drop, he will accept it pack it for you and share a tracking no.

Even one star is too much. Shop assistant was extremely rude. Almost shouting at me. He seem to have an anger issues. People like that should not work as a shop assistant. By all mean I will avoid that place. He destroyed my mood for the rest of the day. That horrible place does not fit with the nice Cheam. My advice, AVOID that place.
