Awful awful awful - they don't care anymore. A town centre built with good intentions, completely let down by current management. The lift has been out of order for many years. They recently repainted the shutters! But they didn't fix the lift. More recently they closed the toilets, but it's been months already. There is no sign they are willing to reopen them. Big disgrace. There were plans displayed in a shop window for a town centre redevelopment, but these are gone. No wonder. If they are unable to keep operating the loos, how would they be able to redevelop anything?

not as many shops as there perhaps should be, i suspect high rent being the main cause, but to give them credit it's always kept immaculate and they have some lovely little events on inside the encolsed parade

The free book shop is great as you can borrow a book & then take it back leave a donation if you want to I always leave a donation would recommend the shopping centre as it leads to Morrisons & car park as well as the shops in the Town Centre

A dying shopping centre which barely has the basics. It looks like the place has been neglected for years as shops have upped and left. The management company needs some serious investment rather than allowing the place to go to rack and ruin. I remember as a kid, this was the place to go for all your needs however nowadays it's a sad shadow of its past.

What an absolute disgrace it's lovely having a burnt out building in your local town centre, is there anybody actually going to look into the total neglected town shopping area . In my opinion the whole place should be pulled down and start again ,there are so many empty shops in fact there are more closed shop than open we don't even have a newsagents now you should be ashamed. We have 2 huge office tower blocks that are continually used for cannabis farms , please take a leaf out of Stockton town council bite the bullet and pull the lot down and start again or just do something to encourage retailers to open up new stores and bring prosperity back to this area ...
