I thought twice about leaving this review but having read others and spoken to friends they too agree. I did not feel welcome at all today, they didn't and rarely do say hello or asked if they might help as I struggled carrying things. It may have good products but their service lets them down. Each time I think it might be different but honestly I am now firmly put off by the atmosphere created by their behaviour. I felt I was interrupting them whilst they were putting things away
or rearranging shelves ,tables and talking to each other with not a flicker of interest even when you're buying. They make you feel as the customer like you're not in their club and beneath them.

Love it, love it, love it. The website was playing up a bit for me at the time of purchase, but it was worth persevering and not sure if that’s why Sue the Manager did this, but I got my bag less than 24 hours after ordering. Amazing customer service, thank you 🙏

I popped in today, there were no customers in the shop, I was looking around in the various sections and every section I went in some one followed I felt I was being watched in case I shop was shoplifting|. I eventually decided on 3 or 4 items and a lady that worked there asked if she could take them from me I said yes expecting her to take the items to the till but she put them on a rack assuming I was not going to buy them. The staff made me feel unwelcome, watched and they were not welcoming. I ended up spending over £200 so my advice is don’t judge a book by its cover or a by their colour, I like their range of clothes, but not sure I will return or recommend the shop.

The shop itself is lovely and I have found some great items here, but I have to agree with the other reviews. The atmosphere is unwelcoming and the staff appear to be very stuck up. They sort of look you up and down and you don’t get so much as a smile. I often pop in as I work locally and it’s the same every time sadly.

I love all the goodies in this shop, however, every time I go in I wonder why I’m bothering to support local when they’re so unfriendly and clearly ungrateful for the business. I always smile and greet the ladies in the shop but always feel like it’s a bother for them to even have us in there. They do curate beautiful seasonal clothes and accessories but the pieces can be found elsewhere (often same quality at lower prices) so I’ve decided I’d rather shop online or drive a little further afield to support businesses who value customer service.

I love Cashmere Goose and have been a regular visitor since opening, they have a really great choice and I always manage to find lovely gifts for friend. Great customer service, ordering items not available in store and was helped with ordering interiors to suit my colour scheme. I will be back.

Sadly always leaving with a sour taste in my mouth. Lovely shop and products (albeit you could probably find them elsewhere!) and it’s great to support local, but never a welcoming atmosphere.
Having grown up in the village, I’ve been a local at CG since it opened. But I’m officially fed up of their lack of customer service.
Recently, I tried to return/exchange a birthday gift from my mother, a small vase, because its glaze was cracked. The member of staff claimed it was ‘marbled’ and supposed to look this way. Before even going in I understood it was out of it’s return period, however, I was met with zero empathy or understanding and informed there was nothing they could do.
Considering the amount of time and money spent in CG over the years, it’s frankly disappointing. Even if there was nothing they could do for me in this particular situation given their policy, the staff members consistently unfriendly demeanour has cemented my decision on not returning anytime soon.

So disappointed with the customer service offered at the shop - we always shop local, but Cashmere Goose has recently implemented a 14 day return policy. This just isn't enough time to return gifts for those who live outside of the village/ if they have life circumstances physically not allowing them to do so.
I was recently gifted a lovely blouse, but it was the wrong size, we tried to return and despite explaining the extenuating circumstance as to why we couldn't physically get to the shop to return within the window of time provided, we were offered no sympathy, not even an exchange option.
Considering they were still selling the item, and that it was very expensive, I'm shocked there was no more flexibility. We won't be buying gifts from them again.
