Just tried my first carrs pasty whilst at middle brook and have to say very disappointed.
I chose a cheese and onion and the lad serving went into the back and got me a hot one but when it came to taste it was just like eating an unseasoned mash potato flavour pasty.... unlike Greenhaulghs which are really thick goosey and cheese flavour.
The premises were clean well laid out and they offered hot drinks as well as frozen takeaway.
I'll try a few other items to make my mind up but other shops winning.

First time in a Carrs and your service staff were amazing. They gave us recommendations and we have just sat in the car and eaten the lot. Highlight was the chicken curry pasty, however the cheese and jalapeño pasty was very delicious. 100% recommend for fabulous tasty pasties and even more fabulous lovely staff.

Visited Carr's for the first time last weekend. I'd heard good things about this place and I wasn't disappointed by pasty was perfect!

The filling included scotch bonnet chillies which really made it for me. Loved it and can't wait to return soon

MEDIOCRE AT BEST
I'd heard about the famous Bolton-based pastie company, but never actually tried one until now.
I'll be honest, I was disappointed.
Service was great, couldn't be any quicker. But the actual pasty itself was pretty hard, with not too much filling inside of it.
I'd expect more from premium-priced pasties.

Impressed , must admit normally go to Greggs for my breakfast barm. However it’s closed , visited your store today and decided on a barm and was informed by member of staff it includes a free tea or coffee . Wow , you have won a new customer , better quality, proper HP sauce instead of cheap brown sauce and great service from the young gent with a beard on duty Sunday 22nd am . Thanks 😄😄

Purchased frozen pasties to take to relatives when visiting them as they all love Carrs . But I still think £2.30 for a fresh warm pastie is at the top of acceptability.

One of the many places that have staff that think that condiments come out of their wage at the end of a week. Charged 15p for a PAPER bag, I’m sure people only make you pay for bags to stop you from buying plastic ones yet these fools think it’s acceptable to charge for paper bags as well. Pasty was cold.
