Whilst first impressions of the Barn, which is adjacent to the BnB, were good, ultimately it was a very disappointing stay. |The first issue is that Eye itself is so quiet. There’s only one Pub and that is due to close soon, so there’s literally nothing within walking distance. May not be an issue for some but I personally enjoy a country type pub whilst away to walk out to. (You cannot get a taxi for love nor money in the area either.)|The Barn itself is tired and needs refreshing. It’s very dusty and has a huge amount of cobwebs which are unreachable to remove. The shower room is nice to look at but unfortunately the water pressure is abysmal and a frustrating experience. |The main issue I had was the sheer abundance of rats I encountered. I appreciate it’s rural but it’s very off putting hearing them on the roof tiles on a night and feeling unable to open a window or the patio doors. |So much say I decided to cut my stay short.|All in all not a great stay and as Iv now found there are far far superior options in the area.

Oh my goodness. That was extra special. The best compliment we can give about our stay is how Aly made us feel welcome in her beautiful traditional cottage, as if she’d been a friend for years. Nothing was too much trouble and highly recommended. We also met two wonderful fellow guests filled with fun and sparkling conversation. Don’t miss out on this Suffolk gem you won’t be disappointed.

We have just had a lovely break in this idyllic cottage. Aly was a super hostess and we wanted for nothing. Fabulous breakfasts, delicious cakes on arrival and plenty of space throughout the accommodation. Cosy lounge and the underfloor heating was a real treat. We will be back!

I was here before some years ago and the current stay (4 days) is just as first class. Located down a shady. country lane within easy strolling distance of village amenities. Comfortable room with tv and ensuite, spacious residents’ sittingroom, excellent breakfasts and a charming host. Highly recommended.

I booked a mini break for my husband's birthday and Camomile Cottage did not disappoint! This 16th century cottage has been tastefully restored and is full of character and charm. Aly is a fantastic host and nothing is too much trouble. On arrival, we were warmly welcomed with a pot of tea and the most delicious home-made chocolate fudge! Our room was cosy and inviting, including fresh flowers, chocolates and a bottle of water each and the bed was super comfy!! The cottage is set in a tranquil location and creates a very quiet, peaceful, warm and welcoming environment, for a very enjoyable stay.

My husband and I have just returned from the most wonderful stay at Camomile Cottage. Ali is the absolute perfect hostess, she made us feel extremely welcome and her breakfasts were just divine! Every morning we had a lovely selection of cereals, fresh fruit salad, homemade bread, tea, coffee and a choice of delicious cooked breakfasts.||The cottage itself is absolutely beautiful and full of charm. We especially loved relaxing in the garden room watching all of the wildlife outside. ||We couldn’t recommend Camomile Cottage highly enough - it’s simply perfect!

A short break was needed and camomile cottage was our lovely retreat for the weekend! On arrival it looked welcoming and it was- Aly is friendly and very helpful. We really enjoyed our stay here- slept really well in the comfy bed, had fab breakfasts, walked locally and other parts of Suffolk were in easy reach. Highly recommend
