This site has to be the neatest, tidiest site in the whole club. The pitches are immaculate, and there are flowers everywhere. The wardens were amongst the friendliest we have met. The facilities were spotless. The site is very well positioned on the outskirts of Cambridge with good bus links to the city. I'm sure that Camping and Caravan Club have really upped their game this year. Everyone of their sites we've visited this year have been far superior to other providers and very competively priced.

Ideally placed for visiting the City. A narrow access road to the site easily missed, just don't arrive before 1300 hrs you don't want to meet a large outfit leaving. Excellent area for cycling we cycled through the city with cycle ways clearly marked. Didn't feel unsafe from vehicles but from other cyclists ignoring give way signs and traffic lights. The BusWays have excellent traffic free cycle paths running parallel to the Busways, factor these in when planning a route. A large open space Club Site excellent place to relax after visiting the city. The facilities were always clean but in need of refurbishment.

We stayed here for 2 nights camping electric on the 4th June. The staff here are so friendly and really have a handle on the the site. Bob was especially helpful. It’s a great place to stay for cycling into Cambridge or visiting grantchester. There is train line near by but it’s not too bad. Throughout the day the air ambulance and old planes from the museum fly by but it’s actually quite interesting.

The facilities are ok. The gents were spotless but unfortunately my wife said the ladies was disgusting. Toilets not flushed, hair everywhere and you know what on the floor. Such a shame.

The staff allowed our boys to play cricket and they had a great time.

Nice place, a bit sparse but ok for a couple of nights.

Good facilities and great location within easy reach of Cambridge city centre. Wardens are helpful and very friendly. Conveniently placed for an M11 stopover after the horrors of the Dartford Crossing.

As usual at C&C websites; well maintained, spotless facilities and friendly staff. Pitches are great. Do note the usual C&C arrival/departure times as the entrance to the site does not facilitates too much traffic and/or intermediate parking. This site would absolutely rate five stars... however, the constant background noise (traffic and trains) is a bit of a spoiler if you have a fabric roof (tilted caravan-roof or tent) preventing noise isolation. Apart from that; great site to visit Cambridge and Duxford!

Visited for the second time this year. Been there many years. Very flat campsite, hard standing and grass pitches. Many pitches with electric hookup. Some pitches without.

Bus service every 20 minutes to Cambridge, and other services a further walk away. Can still get back by bus after 23.00. Sunday the service is one an hour.

Lovely walk into Cambridge by Granchester and along the river Cam.

Dog walking trail for this who must take dogs on holiday.

Downside is the motorway, although over a mile away it is very audible.

Waitrose supermarket is a 20 minute walk away.

One shower block, well kept. Washing up facilities, with very hot water.
