Was surprised to find the low grades and yet despite them being AFTER such a nice refurb this place has near sunk in local opinion from high prices and lackluster attitude.

I paid £4.30 for a gingerbread latte, from a machine!

No skill needed, no originality, all standard and low quality coffee for daft prices.

The elderly lady could do w trying to be more professional, she's so-so, which means alright, but she feels like she's not bothered, and goes at her own pace; could you time her order turnarounds to find how consistent her speeds are, please? Some of us are waiting for what could be 5mins for a 2min machine made coffee.

Just checked my bank account - got charged £21 for four cans of drink (2 x gin, 2 x rum) on Saturday 9 Nov - that's an extortionate price of £5.25 each. Will be going in to moan.

Expensive, but to be expected at a train station and no other shops or choice. Friendly lady working there though. Can't knock her

Overpriced food and drink (to be expected at a train station). Sausage sandwich, avoid that, had one bite and binned, even the brown sauce was some cheap no brand sachet. Coffees are a bit weak on the flavour but do the job for a morning caffeine hit.

Customer service wise, they're all friendly and nice apart from the smaller, older woman, whose default is grumpy. If you happen to disturb her with a friendly hello; to attempt to receive service when she's in the back room, she will sharply bite back with an annoyed tone to say "I'll be there in a minute".

Unfortunately, we don't all have time to wait another minute after standing there for a minute already. When there's a train approaching and you just want to buy a paper, it's most frustrating, especially when you've been seen in the mirror that allows anyone in the back to see if anyone needs serving at the till.

Cafe express, Halifax

At the train station we picked up the vegan sausage wrap (around £4.50ish) and saw a sign saying wraps or sandwiches in the meal deal, which includes a drink and crisps for £5.75

Went to pay for the meal deal and it came to almost £9. We questioned why and the lady went ‘the vegan items aren’t included in meal deals’ even though they had no signs anywhere saying that, and also found it rather discriminatory
We said we won’t bother with the other stuff and will just get the wrap and the lady then rudely turned and went ‘why didn’t you ask me about the meal deal rather than mess me and the tills around’
My friend has extreme anxiety and the lady was so horrible to her.
Would just be nice for vegans to be included in meal deals.

Just had the worst Costa coffee ever here, might be in a Costa cup, but no way this is a Costa. Coffee taste is very weak, taste more like hot watered down frothy milk than a coffee

Never open when the times say it will be open, everything in there is extremely expensive and a money grab due to its location really. Staff are nice. It's just an overall bad business.
