the staff seemed impatient to serve me as if i just wasted their time , while i was asking for something with peach filling or vannila flavour they used the noisy bread cutter ,they were not much interested what i asked for so i made it easier for them and asked just for apple turnover as i knew them made them. she took two turnovers from the fridge, that surprised me. these were hard and cold, and probably old, there was no date on the package. their croissants however were freshed and crispy.

Hardly any currants inside. Just pastry really. Added picture of what I think an Eccles cake should look like.

Amazing Buffet Sandwiches, Wraps, Cheese Straws, sausage rolls, Quiches. For our mums 80th birthday. Lots of great comments from guests. Thank you so much to you and your team. Very efficient, reliable and professional service. Will definitely use again.

Truly an original village bakers.
And what a pleasant surprise on Saturday to find the Seeded Bloomer is back on the shelf...
Hardly any bakers left selling the Seeded Bloomer...
I can't be the only one that has searched high and low for these in recent times...
Please make it a regular on the shelf again...

Great to have an old school family run Bakery in the village!
Always very friendly and serve amazing food at cheap prices, which unfortunately finds me buying more than I need for me and my partner haha!

A real English old style bakery! What more to say? I think everyone in the village loves this bakery and probably people from other towns come to get their old school cakes and pastries, Bakewell tarts, fruit cakes and buns, all types of bread and pasties, veggie and sausage rolls and a variety of homemade sandwiches are available. Prices are lower than anywhere else around and you get so much more filling for your dosh! Service with a joke and banter from all servers can’t fault them aside from closing too early coz everyone loves it and they run out of goodies!

The caramel bites have very little topping and threw the box away after trying just two. The bread is ok but actually no better than coop or large retailer. The other cakes weren't great including custard slice which also went in the bin after one bite.

We ordered a Victoria sponge at short notice yesterday. We had it for a bbq finally and it was delicious. Many thanks.
We would highly recommend CL Pearce & Sons. Great service and price.
