Always 5*, great butchers with amazing quality food at low prices. Highly recommend swapping from supermarket to here, you’ll not only taste the difference in quality but you’ll clearly realise it through texture and the cooking process as well.

These guys are absolutely amazing! Their christmas meat hampers are such great value for money and taste delicious, and their veg boxes are HUGE perfect for feeding the 10 people we have for christmas (and some).

I missed my collection slot but the team were so accommodating and kind-great banter in the shop and lots of happy smiling faces! They were also kind enought to deliver my veg box to my house as I didnt live close by. They went above and beyond for me which will not be forgotten. Thank you all and merry christmas!

Arrogant, unsafe delivery driver—every morning, he forms a rolling roadblock between Tetbury and Cirencester as he decides to drive 35mph the entire way, causing multiple car tailbacks and forcing dangerous overtaking. If you're not competent on the main roads - get off them!

I come here for gammon hocks and the sausages. Left today with some wonderful things you can't get in the supermarket, plus the biggest chicken we have ever seen! And it is delicious, solid chicken we will be enjoying all weekend. Many thanks.

Bought a joint of beef cost 16 quid on fri. 2nd joint ive purchased for said butcher. The first one was a 30 quid leg of lamb which was tough and it was slowly cooked. The beef joint was extremely fatty and tough to eat. Slowly cooked again. Also got a lecture for 10 mins about the selling of joints in lidl/aldi how its not good not English and wouldn't feed my dog their meat. Well my dog had his joint over 2 days. Waste of money . Wont be going back. Theyres a butcher ill buy from in Derby that its better and delivers

Just want to thank the staff for the excellent service received on Saturday. A quick Google search said the shop was still open, but they actually close at 2:30pm. Arrived after 3:00 p.m. and despite the fact that they had cleared away and had been closed for some time, they happily and readily served us. 5 stars for service. Top marks, as always, for their meat.

The accolades heaped on Buxtons are all justified so just to say thanks for the outstanding service last Friday in coming up with my four rib of beef and pork loin roast at short notice to take back home with me to Switzerland. To serve that quality British beef to my guests on Christmas Eve is something special indeed.
