The food was ok, what I expected really. I had a prawn baggette and the prawns were pretty tasteless. Nice salad and good chunky chips, with a nice mug of coffee.
The atmosphere was very local. Everyone seemed to know each other, and the guy next to me persisted to play his own music loudly through his telephone.
A great place to people watch 🙂

Would never go anywhere else for a breakfast, staff friendly, food always comes out nicely presented and hot..
Tables are cleaned straight away, highly recommended

I had a teacake which had been burnt, if I'd of known the cost of it I would have sent it back. My mum had the pirate meal her fish fingers had been over cooked. The tea was nice.

I used to come here many years ago while working in the town. It's nice to see that it's still independent and the food and service is still good. Prices excellent too.

Not worth the hassle. Poor quality food, overpriced and skimpy portions. 1 sausage, 1 egg and 1 bacon stretched out to 'fill' a whole baguette... Never again

Convenient access to local buses and taxi`s. Waitress service with a smile. Very clean venue. Best known for their all day full English breakfasts. Extensive very British menu to suit all tastes. Clock on the wall so good excuse to put your phone away!
