This store is lovely. I saw it advertised on TikTok and made my first trip down to Camden to check it out. All the clothes are great- it’s definitely worth purchasing a more expensive piece (such as the Gothic Lolita style dresses) as they’re much less expensive than than other outlets I’ve seen. I bought a stylish skirt, top, and dress for excellent value. The lady managing the store was very helpful. I definitely suggest visiting if you’re alternative! I look forward to visiting again soon.

Just the best place for well made, reasonably priced corsets (and lots of other gothic/burlesque clothing). Maureen is fab! Always helpful and friendly.

Beautiful shop in the centre of Camden, especially if you love alternative/gothic fashion. Moreen was so sweet to answer all my questions and help me figure out how to put the corset on, i felt super welcome and comfortable. I heard about Burleska online through social media, but i rather buy in person so i can check the quality/size of the product, and i was surely not disappointed! Thank you ?

Amazing customer service - part of my order was out of stock, but the skirt I did receive was beautiful - brilliant quality for a reasonable price too. I was kept informed about the status of the order really well, Chris even went above and beyond by watching for my other skirt to come into stock nearly 6 months later, and let me know personally straight away. Lovely little touch was a thank you for being patient gift! The photo shows me wearing the fish tail satin skirt - I will definitely be shopping with them again in the very near future.

went in tuesday finding it was incredible, everything in there is such good quality and the lady there (young) was so helpful and lovely.
went in again today with a lady (scottish) who was SO rude. barely helped me, was in there for 40 minutes mainly just waiting for her to help me get something down from the top shelf thing. i tried on three corsets with my heart set on one but as i went to try on the last one the lady asked me where i had put the first one and i told her i had put it away for her. she then started going through the shelf with that corset on and said 'that size isnt here'. i replied with 'i put the size 24 on its there i can see it' she then told me that that would be too small for me and i didnt put that one on earlier. i could see the corset i had put on right infront of mine and her eyes but she wasnt having it. at this point i was in a bit of a rush and she was trying to tell me that the corset wasnt there and she was going to have to get security which i was appalled by but i do also understand that if someone thinks there has been some sort of theiving around then security must be called but she wouldnt let me go after i promised her i had put it back and that it was a 24.
overall - a very rude lady, she said the younger girl works mondays and tuesdays so id recomend going then as to not run in into this horrific woman. rude, unhelpful and very stressfull!!!

Chris at Burleska was incredibly helpful in finding and supplying the perfect taffeta ballgown skirt for our theatre production. We are really pleased with it.

we always visit the Camden shop when we're near - and always find something the wife loves! - in between visits, we occasionally buy direct online too. the service, both online and in person is excellent, as is the garment quality.

Visited Burleska for the 2nd time to exchange a corset I purchased a few weeks ago and to buy a few extras. On my first visit the store assistant was a young (polish?) girl who was so helpful and patient, letting me try on numerous corsets. I was relieved because the reviews on here mentioned that there was a member of staff who was rude and unhelpful so I was glad this wasn’t my experience.

However when I visited the 2nd time I was met by an older Scottish lady who was running the store. From the outset I knew she didn’t want me there just by her whole attitude and demeanor. I asked her to get corsets down so I could try them on and she looked very irritated. A few corsets later and she told me bringing down the corsets from the rail hurt her as she had arthritis, I offered to help at this point, feeling so bad that I was inconveniencing her.

Having travelled from outside of London I wanted to make sure I chose the right item and didn’t have to return for a 3rd time, so I did try a few on. There were quite a few I’d seen online that weren’t in store so I wanted to ensure I’d seen all my options. The quality and variety of the corsets are fantastic.

In the end I opted for an underbust style corset but by this point I’d had enough of her rudeness and got the impression she was going to lose her mind if I asked to try anything else on so I didn’t bother trying skirts on and I ended up leaving.

I can honestly say this is an awesome shop with great corsets…as long as you visit on the day the Scottish lady isn’t there. I don’t think I’ve ever experienced customer service that’s so awful and blatantly resentful of customers or having to serve them! Lots of other people came in and she was equally as rude, not wanting to give them the time of day.

I get it was a boiling hot day and she was uncomfortable but in all honesty her attitude was disgusting and I’d rather not visit again while she’s working.
