A lovely store. Abi and Suman are friendly and helpful with everything you would expect from a local store. I enjoy visiting each day to collect my paper and chat with the staff. Goods collections and drop offs are never a problem and Suman has a great selection unusual and reasonably priced wines to buy

Gentleman serving in this shop is rude to the point of ridiculous. Refused to accept my Evri parcel as I didn't buy anything from the shop. I found the whole experience very frustrating and disappointing.

I’ve been coming in here for around 6 weeks and had a lovely service from the lady. But when I visited this morning to send an evri parcel, I needed help to scan the QR code and I asked politely. To be told in a a very abrupt and rude manner by the man behind the counter ‘no I do not run a school, it’s a self print machine’
I was quite shocked at the rudeness and lack of customer care. The lady who’s normally here has been so helpful…
I felt embarrassed and humiliated in front of other customers. And I’m afraid some of us and especially being a bit older we do need some extra help sometimes. It was unnecessary to treat me that way…
A lovely older gentleman customer, helped me package it by holding the bag open, I think he could see I was upset and embarrassed. He asked if I was ok.
I will never use this store again.
I’ve just checked through your previous reviews below and it seems this man is the general problem. Why are people still giving this shop business…

Very rude. Out of nowhere received all this verbal abuse. I feel sad about this as I have been going there for years and always thought it was a lovely family shop.

1. It is your BUSINESS decision to accept parcels from Evri, Yodel, UPS, DHL etc.
2. You get paid for each parcel we send. That is business that we are giving to you. We don't deserve to be screamed at just because we use a service that you have chosen to provide.
3. If that part of your business is TOO small for you and your staff to be polite, if the burden of accepting parcels is too much - then stop accepting parcels. Don't take it out on your local customers. We keep your shop alive.

Bungalow stores is THE BEST STORE - Excellent FRIENDLY HELPFUL staff, not only for fabulous parcel service but also brilliant unusual selection of goods - SO MUCH VARIETY!!! unusual flavours and types, so much better than many!! Thanks to all the team there for their helpfulness xx
