Nice shop with lots of locally sourced produce. Plenty of choice and much of it you just don't see in bigger supermarket chains, especially the German ones. Plenty of parking £1.50 per hour refunded at the tills once you've spent £10. Friendly staff. Recommended

This is a supermarket that has no direction. Some items are high quality at the usual high price. Done are everyday things at a high price and some bargain basement at the right price.
Plenty of room in the store, but that means not taking advantage of the sales space.
The self service tills are a law unto themselves. As you progress in the payment chain it asks to scan your loyalty card. If you do not have one, there is nothing to say 'do not have one'. It's not intuitive to press the 'back' button.
I think more thought needs to be put into this store, but there again why should they? There is no other largish store in Holt.

Fantastic place to shop. Great selection of local Norfolk products, produce that rivals Waitrose, as well as Cook frozen meals for when you don’t feel like cooking! Wide aisles, clean, and friendly staff.

Update Feb 2022: builders finally on site, demolishing and piling. Planned reopening Dec 2022

Update Dec 2020: a small temporary store has been opened on site, occupying the main car park in front of the previous store (which is being rebuilt to same size/appearance). Limited car parking available across the road.

Closed due to major fire 20 June 2020.

Total building loss, unclear when car park will reopen for town shopping use.
