Great cafe very reasonable prices, despite the odd claims in an other review this is probably the cheapest cafe in the area. Today I bought 2 bacon and sausage sandwiches, 2 coffees, one scone and came to £17. The sandwich's are made fresh and have been great every time I have visited which has been regularly since coming across this place. The coffee is really good and the beans they sell are also reasonably priced.The baked stuff has always been great when I have tried too. The service is not particularly quick but it is an out of town small cafe that cooks everything fresh. Staff have always been excellent following special requests on food orders when asked with great customer service.

THE most expensive local cafe I have ever come across, extra 80p for those lactose intolerant and a whopping 60p extra for decaf if you have heart issues, overtly dry scone served on a paper bag. No plates and served in paper cups. Clearly these guys are all profit margin over customer care…no friendly staff…should be grateful attitude…£5 for a overly milky coffee in a paper cup…no better than Wetherspoons…better experience and better value 🤗 acceptable standards are dropping too low these days 🤗🤗

Made to feel really welcome. Great selection of savoury and sweet products, kids loved lotus biscoff milkshakes. And a great touch for me too as a vegan. Loved the tomato and lentil slice. Would definitely recommend and the whole family will be back.

Popped in on our walk, received a nice welcome. We really enjoyed our cakes from here, what a fantastic selection of sweet and savoury treats, we will be back to try the coffee/tea. Also pleased they offered a treat for the dog!

After visiting Bridge bakery since it opened and absolutely love the hot chocolate and staff was great. Then it changed hands may 2023 we gave them the benefit of the doubt l over the few weeks the strength of hot chocolate went down, it’s like hot warm milk, temperature changes every time we went. I stopped going unless 2 particular members of staff where in. We have even been asked what we want by other members of staff and said we will wait until the other member of staff is available.
I heard a customer say her cappuccino was like dirty water and only come on certain days Wednesday because the girl who worked on a weekend now works Wednesday morning and she makes excellent coffee

We used to visit 4 times a week and now only go when certain members of staff are in.

I have taken it up with the manager and was told they aren’t doing anything different, and would get the coffee machine checked. I I informed her that I approached her before writing a review to give her a right to reply.

My reply was I’m complaining about coffee but it’s the warm milk I’m getting instead of hot chocolate. I have since been blocked of Facebook my review has been deleted. You can’t contact the barista because no one answers and when to talk to some of the staff they ignore you.

If you look at reviews not many have been made since the takeover and I know personally that customers are stop coming to the barista because it’s the same product but it’s not the same taste, quality or even temperature. I think some of the staff need retraining. I won’t be back in again.
