You guys are very unhelpful and absolutely rubbish items. I’ve bought one of your items last week and I tried to hang it on my car but because of a little bit of rain flew away and hit the car behind me , that’s very sad for a big place like B&Q in Croydon what a shame

Never do online shopping from B&Q anymore.
2 weeks ago I bought 4 troughs and 6 lavenders.
Carrier brought 6 death lavenders and said troughs weren't on the van despite invoice says they were delivered to me.

All this mess was happened by B&Q Croydon branch.Customer service says they escalated this issue to branch manager. Dear manager still waiting to solve my problem for 2 weeks!!!

Still waiting for the refund of the unsent troughs and the death lavenders!!
And not excepting the apology of the customer service anymore.

Please send my refund as soon as possible!

The WORST customer service!! We don't live close to this B&Q but it is one of a few in London that does wood cutting. We called a few days before to be sure the service would be available until closing, which they confirmed it would. We arrived and the wood cutter person was supposedly on their break. So we waited 40 mins for them to come off their break. We were told by two members of staff they were on their break. Then after the 40 mins we were told the machine was broken! We spoke to 5 employees total, two said on a break, two said the machine was broken and one simply said 'I don't know'! Utterly USELESS!! And a complete waste of time!!

On Sunday I was served by Lee on the paint desk. I showed him a picture on my phone to try and get the colour matched and Lee explained that he couldn’t scan it from a phone but rather than just sending me off to go home and print the image he found the video I had taken a screenshot from and looked at the information in the video to find out what colour it was. Then he mixed me the colour so I wouldn’t have to pay farrow & ball prices and it’s come out brilliantly! Thank you Lee. I could see how busy you were so you can have easily just said you couldn’t find the colour but you really went out of your way to make sure I got what I needed.

Expected a delivery which was set for today. I received a text yesterday confirming the delivery, but it didn’t specify whether it would be in the morning or afternoon, which is inconsistent with their website. There’s been no delivery today and no communication from B&Q. I spent the day waiting for an update that never came, total waste.

I called three different customer service numbers, including the store, but none could provide any assistance. It seems the delivery team operates totally independently, in a bubble, as neither customer services nor the store can reach them, leaving everyone in the dark.

There’s a complete breakdown in communication, and customer service is unhelpful. I will be canceling my order. B&Q clearly doesn’t understand the consequences of missed deliveries. I have a builder scheduled for tomorrow who needs the materials that were supposed to arrive today, so I’ll have to adjust my plans.

I will never use this company’s delivery service again.

Croydon B&Q to check if the wood-cutting service was available, but no one answered. I decided to drive there anyway, which took me 40 minutes, only to arrive at 6 pm and be told that the team responsible for the cutting service was no longer there – even though the store itself is open until 8 pm. It would be really helpful if B&Q could list specific opening and closing times for the wood-cutting service to avoid wasting customers’ time. A disappointing experience that could have been avoided with better information.

A massive thank you Julian, I came yesterday looking for cling film to wrap my sofa. I asked the lady on the till she didn’t know. Then I asked 4 more people who didn’t really bother to help, the exact words was “ it’s there”… I was lost I was on a rush and nearly gave up when I saw Julian and decided to try that last person for help. He was helping 5 people in a same time with h great knowledge of where everything is. He then escorted me to the exact location where the cling film was and showed me an additional product that I can use. I can’t thank him enough, that exceptional customer service. He deserves recognition, thank you Julian, you are a very kind person.

Seems to be following the trend of self chuck outs. Long queues, tills not working properly, random basket checks needed. I feel sorry for the one person now manning 6 self chuck out tills, and can see why people walk out without paying. To be honest I nearly did, but I’m a law abiding citizen so I waited for the lady and had a chat with her. She doesn’t like this either. B&Q, putting profits before people. Wake up otherwise people will go elsewhere.
