Lovely little bakery with very friendly staff. Only reason I’m not giving it 5 starts as my cheese bake was a little dry and the coffee I had was too hot and burnt. But absolutely lovely little place with amazing choice.

A busy gem in the heart of Holmfirth, rain or shine you're always welcomed through the door.
My morning 'go to' is an earl grey teacake with a bear coffee. The staff work really hard and do their best for each customer.
Their bread is beautiful, I've tried their ciabatta, sour dough loaves and our family favourite is fruit loaf. If you want something specific, I recommend you phone in advance.
Highly recommend this little hotspot for Bread/Coffee/Brunch and Cake.

I had high hopes for Bluebird Bakery and after walking past it numerous times, I decided to try it on Saturday afternoon.

From the welcome (or lack of welcome) we received when we walked in, I actually thought they might be about to close. No hello or acknowledgement. I went to order and the women behind the counter seemed so uninterested. I ordered a toastie and a latte. Latte was okay but the toastie was awful, dry and expensive for what I got.

Tables upstairs weren't very clean and staff took a while to turn them around. Even the teaspoons weren't clean.

On leaving again there was no goodbye, Thank you etc etc. I'd save your money and time and visit somewhere else in Holmfirth. We won't be back.

Great little Bakery Cafe. Limited space, with seating upstairs, but worth the wait if full. The savory Danish was Stunning!! Fab coffee too. Plus Dog freindly, so another plus point.👍🏻

What a gem!!! This place is absolutely fantastic, food is exquisite and the staff are really lovely and friendly. 10/10 can't wait to come back, nor can I wait to get home and get the take away focaccia!!

Really disappointing trip to Bluebird bakery. I have been a regular visitor and previously the service has matched the food, impeccable. However the last two times I’ve been in the service has been dismissive and bordering on the rude. I go in smile always say hi, use please and thank you and never complain. So I am a miss why the service has become so snappy. It’s such a shame as I have been a regular visitor since it opened, however the atmosphere and service has changed massively it seems if your mates with the staff you’re treated quite politely and favourably and if not you’re treated like an inconvenience
