BUYER BEWARE!!!
I placed my order at 4.48pm on a Wednesday and paid £6.50 for next day delivery. Given it was so close to 5pm, I expected to receive my order on the Friday. I received no updates and no reply to my emails. I therefore filed a PayPal claim. My order did finally arrive on the Tuesday by Royal Mail 48 hours, not the courier next day that I’d paid for. Black Liquorice offered me a £2.51 refund (the difference between the postage costs) which I refused as I wanted the full £6.50 courier cost refunding. PayPal have now refused my claim. This company takes your money and does not provide the service you have paid for. I will not be purchasing again, if they are making an extra £2.51 on every order I hate to think how much they are conning people out of!

Bought the New Liquorice Cable Ties as a Birthday Present for my hubby. Opened the box and was shocked how they have been sent just looked awful . The way they have packed them for a food item is very industrial and not what I expect from a confectioner. I complained but they said I could return at my expense . Picture below so you can see. Will not be using the company again and have used them for years as their customer service response was much like how they send their products Rubbish!

Unfortunately there return policy isn't great, bought a pick n mix calendar and the quality was not great (on 3 of the 6 days opened anyways)
Strange tasting/texture to the point where I thought the honeycomb was fudge to begin with.
I wanted to return the calendar and receive a refund, however their return policy seems floored as they do not accept anything that's been opened.

How are you to know the product are not to standard until you open it?

Brought a pick and mix advent calendar last week and so far it has been brilliant, different sweets every day which is amazing and unexpected. Will definitely be buying from this company again. Can’t wait to try the retro advent calendar next year !
