I’ve been using Birdies for a few years and the customer service is always excellent. Most recently I took in my high end road bike which I had ridden into the ground over the past 18 months. 6 days later I’m back out on the road with new wheels, pads, bottom bracket and a full service and it feels like new again. Knowledgable, helpful and fairly priced. What more can you ask for. Thanks guys.

I've been a regular customer of Birdie Bikes over the years, getting reliable and fairly priced services for my bikes including expert knowledge of Brompton's.

On my road bike I've been suffering with hand numbness and lower back pain on longer rides. I spoke to a few shops and they recommended various things including a bike fit for £250+. I discovered that Birdie have just started offering this service and for a fraction of the cost of the "hi tech" offerings from other bike shops. I spent nearly two hours with them getting lots of little tweaks here and there. I wasn't sure it would make a huge difference, but today I went out on a club ride; hand numbness gone, lower back pain gone, and to top it off, I won the sprint in the club ride. With results like that, I'll be back for more!

Birdies is a small bike shop tucked away near Hampton station. I've used it a few times for servicing and for small repairs... and have once used it for a larger repair in tandem with CarbonBikeRepair in Leatherhead. The team in the shop are great - you do normally need to leave the bike with them (especially in the busy summer), but they know what they are doing and tune your bike up perfectly for a reasonable price. What a difference a bike fit has made. This was my first. The very professional and patient Ryan at Birdie measured, adjusted and measured again. Came up with a list of things I could do to maximise my riding efficiency, all of which I’ve implemented. No more pins and needles in the hands, no more lower-back pain after a couple of hours in the saddle. I highly recommend.

I visited Birdies for a Bike Fit with Ryan last summer. The focus of the bike fit for me as a racer was to put me in an aggressive race position that would help me to unlock some power and help me become faster on the bike.

Ryan has a long history of racing and bike fitting, and he used this knowledge to completely transform my position on the bike. I have been pain free and powerful on the bike ever since.

Bike fitting can be extremely expensive and this reason is why I skipped a proper bike fit for so long, but at birdies the price was extremely fair and made it an absolute no brainer.

Outstanding customer service as ever. I went to collect my new MTB bike today which Birdies team had professionally built for me on day of arrival! We got to the old conversation of tubes versus tubeless and preferring the latter I said I will look to get it switched over at some point. They offered to do it there and then and within 15 minute is was done and I was on my way. Even got a choice of valve colours. They always go the extra mile. Thanks and see you soon!
