Excellent meat and very friendly service, couldn't recommend more. It was my first time cooking beef shin and was grateful for the professional cooking tips.

Can’t believe I’ve lived in Benson for more than a year and only just tried this butchers. I had previously looked in the window and assumed they weren’t trading. The guy who assisted me on the phone was polite and helpful, he even waited until I could get there despite being due to close for his afternoon deliveries. The meat was melt in the mouth. I can’t believe I’ve been driving all the way to Sainsbury’s for Taste the Difference meat when this butcher is on my doorstep. I simply can’t wait to try more.

Visited Benson Butchers while on holiday on the river. Guy and his good lady were very helpful, explained why there was no meat on display but happy tonyell us what was available. Lovely free-range chicken and smoked back bacon duly bought. How lucky is this village to still have a butcher? Will definitely return.

Last week I picked up a BBQ pack for 3 and 2 fillet steaks, the meat was absolutely perfect. Steve and Karen even catered for my 3 year old who is funny with certain spices, she absolutely loved her marinated chicken. I would highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I'm sure the produce here is of a very high quality, but my god!!!! ....what a pair of unfriendly, charmless, humourless, grumpy old gits behind the counter. Honestly!! every time I've been in there I've been met with a surly, po-faced, ubrupt, and downright unfriendly experience. On one occasion, a couple of days before Xmas, when there was a queue of people collecting turkeys, the atmosphere was decidedly hostile. So much for Xmas spirit?! I am amazed that mine is the only review highlighting this issue. In these days of supermarkets killing off independent high street traders, you boys need to up your game and make the 'personal friendly touch' a point of differentiation. Otherwise your days are sadly numbered.
I'm off to Waitrose. I can get a coffee there too!!
