Great service from a very friendly team, our waitress was Shannon who was great. Really good food which came in a reasonable time. The drinks were good and not watered down like many places. Had a nice meal, the only notes would be that the mushroom starter didn't really know if it was a starter or a main, if a dish can really struggle with it's identity, however the bottomless gravy was greatly appreciated with the Sunday roast.
Downsides were that it was a little expensive, 2 people had a soft drink and two courses with 1 mini dessert came to just under £70.

My daughter chose here to celebrate her husband's 30th birthday party. It's part of a corporate chain and therefore a generic bought in menu but it covers all the bases.
A bit pricey for what it is perhaps, as you might want to add sides and a dessert but there are always offers, especially if you sign up.
It is a large sprawling place which suited us, thankfully they have a room 'at the back' where we could 'hide'.
There were children in the party, a couple with special needs, and we didn't want to disturb any other diners. Especially those having a romantic night out. I do wish restaurants would take this more into consideration.
Truthfully I am not a fan of dining in large groups and there was 20 of us. As such I feel it must put a strain on the kitchen and service and something has to suffer.
Ordering our mains in advance will have helped, but even so.
My fears weren't realised and everything ran very smoothly.
The food came out all together and everyone was happy, not an issue anywhere, although someone would have preferred their cod without the skin on!
Considering the number and the variety of dishes served I thought the quality of the food and service was quite an achievement.
They could have cleared the wine glasses off the tables to give us a bit more room but that was about it. I did feel sorry for the guy at the end trying to assist in splitting the bill, that's something I felt we should have done but not in my control. He went above and beyond.

Excellent meal. Excellent service by Jayne. The only thing that could make it better is new salt cellars 😉
Attention to detail was great - particularly as I had an allergy (hence the little green flags). The only criticism would be that the pasta (linguine was slightly) overcooked. Not sure if they make/cook the pasta fresh. Five of us dined. We had scallops, calamari and crab as starters and two of us had the sea bass, two had the linguine and one had the lamb. Fish was cooked beautifully. Lamb was medium rare as requested. Jayne is a very attentive waitress and also quite funny in her patter. Made the meal very enjoyable as a result. The desert is a poached pear.they swapped out the coconut icecream for me. Have to be honest the crystallised ginger icecream as I requested (thank you) could be a more gingery in flavour. Minor niggle. Still very nice desert. 🙂 the toilets could do with a revamp. Looking slightly tired but we’re clean.

We was looked after tonight by Jayne, she made us feel so welcome and really took the time to make sure everything was perfect for our meal, the food was INCREDIBLE, we will most definitely be returning.

We had a family meal for 12 here, the location and the building were both really great. Staff were friendly and there was no real wait when getting all of the food out, with large parties it can sometimes take time between the first and last person but this was really quick, food was good, but i think its potentially a little on the expensive side for what it is which is essentially good pub food.

The drinks were amazing and so pretty. The food was spectacular and well presented. The service was quick and the staff were extremely friendly and had a great attitude. We will 100% be visiting again with our friends and family and they made my graduation meal one to remember. The pub in general had a lovely atmosphere and was beautiful. One thing I didn’t like was the dessert menu as it didn’t have kid friendly desserts.

I was quite surprised how nice this place is inside, the service is good and the food is spectacular. We went for lunch one day and loved it so we went back for an actual meal another time. Ended up having a rotisserie chicken which was cooked to perfection. Would definitely go back again and highly recommend.

Always have an amazing experience at The Bell. The bar staff were absolutely fantastic—friendly, and made sure everyone's drinks were topped up throughout the meal. They really went above and beyond. The food was equally impressive—and beautifully presented. All the family commented on how great it was. From start to finish, the service was top-notch. Highly recommend this venue for a Sunday Roast
