Could not fault this little shop. As expressed by other reviewers, it has such a range of products.
I needed some needles for my cross stitch as I’d lost the needle that came in the set. Straight away the lady behind the till could advise me on the size I needed and gave me some advice on my technique as she could see I was a beginner.
As I needed to pay by card and the needles didn’t reach the minimum spend, very helpfully I was shown to some beginner mini cross stitch sets. I chose a toucan pattern.
Looking forward to being able to complete both designs.

Lovely, proper wool shop with a wide range of yarns to suit all tastes. I found the two ladies very helpful. I didn't have long to browse with my husband waiting outside with the dog. They had quilting fabric & fat quarters too

Visited this shop twice during my week in Filey. Two friendly women running it - one of them busy knitting the hats for the window - and an amazing variety of wool, cottons, ribbons and fabric. Wish I lived closer!

Called in this shop today with my wife to buy a knitting pattern and some wool to make a sweater that was displayed in the window. The woman behind the counter who I assume was the owner was the most arrogant and self appointed expert on what a customer needs. She told my wife that her choice of wool would not suit her as that colour was for dark haired women. As we are both silver haired pensioners that was an inconsiderate comment. I always thought it was the customer who decided what to buy but in this shop it is the obnoxious saleswoman who makes that decision. Needless to say we did not buy anything today and nor will we in the future.

Went into the store hoping to purchase some yarn to knit some socks for the first time. The lady in-store was so helpful, and walked me through one of the already printed free sock patterns she had available. Such a lovely quaint shop. Would definitely recommend when you have a project in mind. Can't wait to get started ❤️
