A really great little plant centre. Lots of fantastic plants to choose from, and for a decent price too. They accept card and contactless payment so it's very convenient. The staff were very helpful, and gave me great advice on how to care for the plants properly. I'll definitely be going back!

Fantastic customer service today from the 2 Ladies working today
I was enquiring about bare root hedging , they explained all about when they would be available
Pointed me to the sale area and explained all about the plants
They then chose 48 plants for me which I came back to collect
It felt like nothing was too much trouble

Words can't express the support and advice I have got from Ann.
From buying our Christmas tree, getting a memory tree for my dads funeral to great practical support and advice of what to do with hazel that was used in the wake.

This nursery was a joy to deal with from beginning to end. I needed a present for my brother who lives in this area and asked if Barters could make up a pot with violas and other spring plants. They sent me a picture of what they were planning, were all wonderful to talk to, are delivering on the day that I requested, and even only charged me for half the bag of compost that they actually used. I can’t recommend them highly enough. Wonderful service.

Really good plant centre. The staff are very knowledgeable and helpful.
It has changed hands recently which is why I'm changing my review.
I think it's now even better than before. It now has a really good garden supplies shop.
We were surprised during our visit on Saturday with a coffee trailer, a pizza stall and a cake and sweets stall, all on site.
