Very helpful and friendly service. Had trouble pumping my tyres up, wasn't used to the valves and wasn't doing it right, so the fella kindly pumped up both tyres and explained what I was doing wrong. He Threw in a valve that I needed for nothing, so I am eternally grateful!

Absolute cowboy! Took my bike in for a service £45, I said the main priority was the brakes needed looking at as they were making a loud screeching noise and not performing as they should, I went to collect the bike and the first thing I asked was about the brakes, to which he replied I’ve checked your brakes there’s nothing wrong with them they are fine. He did however change the back tire which didn’t need changing and charged me £71 in total, without any receipt or labour charges, so I biked home confident he’d done a full service, as I used the brakes for the first time after leaving the shop, nothing had changed, they still screeched and were unsafe, my partner phoned up to enquire why the bike had come back in the same condition as prior to the full service and his reply was some brakes just screech, some don’t, I don’t know why, I’ve come home with a tire I never needed and a full service which has clearly not been done, i feel I’ve been ripped off, absolutely shocking.

Bought a racer from here in 1984. Been back several times over the year's and the service remains top notch. Had a problem with refitting my rear wheel after a puncture. Chain doubled over on itself like a puzzle. Phoned up,explained the problem and got told to pop down. Ten minutes later it was fixed for a few quid. Both young chap and older chap extremely helpful and even talked me through what to do if it happened again. Can't fault the place. Proper cycle shop with realistic prices.

I love the guys at B&D. They will always try to get you sorted, despite any challenges. Always a good laugh too to be honest. If you need any small tweaks or repairs, this is the place for you.

Great bike shop that offers services others dont, including wheel truing and building. helpful and skilled staff that will change a broken spoke or tighten a wheel instead of trying to sell you a new one. I cant recommend these guys enough.

Went into ask for a puncture to be repaired and the man said basically come back tomorrow but I couldn't as I live in Lowestoft and he then said come back at 4pm and I will have it done by then but I got at b and d cycles at 12pm but he didn't seem bothered at all he needs to be trained in customer service he clearly doesn't have any very rude I even asked to borrow some tools to do it with but he completely ignored me so went to Halfords instead and the a guy there done it in 5-10 mins and he had great customer service

Just a fraud ask to change handle grip, plastic peddle and back break service £50. He didn’t do anything on break just oil on the top to show.
