Had a wonderful couple of nights here escaping the city. It’s less than 10 mins walk from the railway station, so you can be here in under 3.5 hours from London Euston! The bus stop at the end of the road gives easy access to Keswick and so many great hiking locations. The room was pretty cosy, but I was here to be outside! The £10 cooked breakfast was great. The hosts very friendly and helpful, and gave me some good walking tips (Brant Fell and the way to the ferry at Bowness was a great suggestion). They were also happy to prepare a packed lunch which helped me avoid messing around and allowed me to get on with catching a bus to Keswick and on to Borrowdale where it helped me through a giant hike in the hills of the southern lakes.

The hosts were extremely friendly and gave us good advice on places to eat and attractions to visit. The room was spotless and the bed was very comfortable. The price also included a full English breakfast which was delicious. The b&b was walkable to the town and lake. We would love to go back one day and take our family. Thank you for everything.

Came here for a quick visit on a whim, but so glad I did! Rob and Tanya are wonderful hosts, and the guest house was spotless from top to toe. Had a great night's sleep, lovely and warm and the mattress is like sleeping on air, the most comfortable nights sleep I've had in awhile. 10/10, I cannot wait to return next month.

My Nan and I stayed here for 3 nights. The rooms were lovely and clean. My Nan and I found the bed and pillows really comfortable.||Rob & Tanya are wonderful hosts. Their communication prior to and during our stay went above and beyond what I expected. We had breakfast on all 3 mornings, which we thoroughly enjoyed.||Rob & Tanya also gave us some lovely recommendation for local attractions, as well as some local restaurants too. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

We would definately recommend that you stay here, both Rob and Tanya were great hosts, very friendly and went out of their way to make us feel welcome, lovely clean room and the bed was so comfortable, breakfast was delicious and we will be staying again when we return within the next two months Brian and Pam

I had a two night stay here on the weekend, the hosts were very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was also great value for money. The room was a perfect size for a couple and bed was very comfortable with comfy pillows too. I’d highly recommend anyone to stay here!

The perfect place for our holiday. The room was cosy and clean, with beautiful views from the window. The en suite bathroom was fab too. Tania and Rob were super welcoming, even though we had lots of special requests, with perfect knowledge about everything to do in the area. Rob makes an incredible breakfast too. 10/10 will come back and recommend to friends and family

In September we spent four nights with three people in the Autumn Leaves Guesthouse. The rooms are well maintained and the breakfast is excellent. Rob and Tanya are great hosts, also because they help you plan walks or use the public transport. In addition, Windermere is ideally located for exploring the beautifull Lake District. We'll be back.
