Now charging more than £2 for a 500ml bottle of coke! Also a pint of milk is over £1 and while it's not the end of the world I just find that this store is taking the mick. Disappearing items such as breaded chicken has been nowhere to be seen for weeks! They used to do a really nice frozen pizza which was great value. That disappeared too. Varieties of crisps have disappeared too. Sort yourselves out Asda! It's an okay shops for emergencies only. That's all I can count on it for.

Staff are lovely as always but the shop is a total disgrace, over priced and generally very poorly.stocked. I used to love it when it was Pearces but in its very guises since then it’s just not the same. Ripping off local people who can’t get to further away supermarkets. I barely use the shop if I can help it and don’t even buy my petrol there I use the garage at St Ann’s Chapel because they’re are a lovely family who run the business. Asda get a grip.

A recent acquisition for Asda, the site being known as Pearce's garage previously. A selection of products is available, but not the full range that an Asda supermarket/ hypermarket stocks. Some prices are very competitive but in an three mile radius it's the only store of it's size and consequently some prices reflect it's monopoly status.

The Co-op that it replaced was actually significantly cheaper and better value than this new as the local Asda. The petrol is marginally cheaper but if you want anything else well you're gonna pay for it! Difficult to recommend shopping in here for anything to be honest with you. The staff are the same family stuff that they always were but the similarities end there

Get your petrol here don't bother getting anything else. At least 30% more expensive than a standard as stuff and some things are over 80% more expensive and that's difficult to justify when there's a petrol station just up the road charging half the price.
