We enjoyed a wonderful late afternoon here and tried a few small plates , cocktails and wine .

Staff were friendly and attentive, food was well presented, flavoursome and decent portion size.

Highlights were the beef bira taco, slow cooked pork belly, salt n pepper chicken and the sticky toffee pudding!

They have an extensive wine menu and regularly hold wine tasting evenings .

Child and dog friendly .

Had a tremendous Sunday Roast today at Arthur’s of Hoylake. Brie triangles for starters were fabulous and the Roast Beef main course with Yorkshire pudding, broccoli, roast potatoes and carrot and swede was absolutely delicious. Everything was cooked to perfection including the apple crumble for desert. Great value, service and the atmosphere was lovely on a wet October afternoon. Will definitely be back and can highly recommend.

Incredible food and lovely staff! Me and my partner had a lovely evening opting to share a bottle of rose and a few small plates. The food was so good that we ended up ordering more of one of the salt and pepper chicken as we couldn’t get enough! Will definitely be coming back soon

Booked the room upstairs for a birthday celebration for our grandchildren. From the initial booking to the end of the gathering, the staff at Arthur’s were fantastic.
The room is lovely and stylishly decorated and we were still allowed to put up our own decorations.Totally accommodated our under 5 year olds.
Layout of the food was perfect and again, stylishly arranged.
Great bar service in the room itself too. Nothing was too much trouble and the staff knew exactly what was needed to manage an event.
Extra bonus of no booking fee for the room or minimum spend, so rare in our area.
Huge thanks to Megan who managed everything and saved the day, pitching in to help when we were running a little late in our prep.
Will definitely book future celebrations here.

I stay here, at 22 pm , I meet a very nice person who served us with smile on her face...Holly you are the best.Is a very clean space with good smelling and here I found Neck oil beer and Arthur's session pilsner that you must try it.

Had a beautiful meal, chose a few dishes and some extras and had amazing cocktails . The small dishes are really not that small and we well over ordered . Can’t fault anything, beautiful atmosphere, staff were amazing. Highly recommend

The decor and atmosphere in here is nice. However my experience was really quite poor.

Firstly, I ordered a premium bottle of wine that was served corked. I did send it back but was only offered a replacement bottle and not a refund.

The food was really below par. The meatball starter was dry, the pizza was poor and soggy (I left half of it) and the order was messed up.

I want to like small independent eateries, but I will not be returning to Arthur's sadly.

Great terrace for a tasty and well presented gin and tonic. Pretty cool music in the background. Will try the food next time as it seems delish.
