Misrepresented condition as very good-it was moldy.
They didn't get back with me when I contacted them about it.
After purchasing, the receipt warned, "no returns."
When I asked for a tracking number, I was told to contact Alibris. What do you think?
$30, a month later, a very moldy smelling book, and no refund or answer yet to my email-my money is being held hostage....consumer terrorism.

This book dealer is unique. I enquired about a book to discover they had two copies. On voicing concern as another dealer had just sent me two copies which were unfit for charity shops so poor they, were the person I spoke to, Aimee, offered to get the books photographed and email me pictures to guide my choice. This happened and the books were ordered by me.
I have have never had this level of service from any book dealer and want share this unique positive experience.

What a fantastic, professional and helpful organization. I purchased a very rare book via abebooks from them that was described as used and ex-library edition. I asked them to send me more pics of book before purchasing it. They replied with the pics the next day. I recieved the book within 5 days all the way to India.

Pros:
1- They reply. They are very responsive.
2- You can ask for pics before purchasing to know the actual look of book.
3- They even give discount on shipping but always use express tracking services of reputed couriers like dhl etc.
4- The cost of books is less.

Cons:
to be honest none really except that packaging of books can be improved.

My suggestion to organisation:
They should get right to make digital copies of books and sell those online. This way no need of shipping cost.
