Helen was so patient and helpful when we went with the Groom’ s mother to try and find outfits for both of us. Both Helen and Kelly made a stressful experience into a joy with their kindness, patience, professionalism and guidance. I have an outfit that befits the Mother of the bride which I feel good wearing. Thank you both.

Kelly was brilliant - knowledgeable about dresses, styles that would suit me, colours and accessories. Very professional, but also fun. 10 out of 10 service. I can’t believe it’s been nearly a year since I walked down the aisle and married, my wonderful husband. I just want to let everyone know how my experience was with the beautiful ladies Kelly, Helen and their team at Any occasion in Heathfield.
If you are a plus size and are struggling to find “the” dress. Then this is the place to go! I knew what my dream dress was and researched where I could find it. This is how I come upon the shop, Any occasion and met the beautiful Kelly and Helen.. What I didn’t know and was insecure about, was if it the dress was going to be the dress for my body. I felt huge, ugly and deflated at the thought of my dream dress not fitting or flattering me on my wedding day. People would say, “lose weight” As if it is that easy.
Anyways, I knew I wouldn’t be able to try many dresses on because I was the larger bride. But yet Kelly and Helen managed to get me in a few styles or even to experience what they would look like on.. The dress I wanted I couldn’t try on properly, because it wasn’t in store in my size.
Somehow, Kelly and Helen managed to show me what I would looked like in the dress though. My deflated, ugly image I had of myself was fading! The dress I loved so much looks amazing, even if it was just held onto me… It was perfect! The dress flatter my body and suited my style. My bridesmaids and mum were there and tears were in their eyes when they see the dress held on me!! I hadn’t even put the dress on and yet it felt like I I was in it.
I then spoke on what I would like for my bridesmaids dresses and for them to match and complement my beautiful dress. Kelly waved her Magic wand and there before me was the most beautiful, perfect dresses for my girls.. My mum even found her outfit there, which also complimented mine and the bridesmaids dresses. So, that was that, the dresses were chosen. We all walked out of the shop excited for the next part, which was, trying them all on, once ordered and altered.
Over the months of wedding planning and waiting to try on my dress. I was worrying, having sleepless nights and the anxiety of my body size was overwhelming at times. Not to forget that i hadn’t even tried my dress properly yet.
But every time I would contact Kelly, she would put my mind at rest and reassure me that everything will be ok. If I put weight on they can alter it, or lose weight they will alter it, the style is complimentary to my figure ect, that kind of thing. I must of drove her mad lol..
The day has arrived to try the dress……
The nerves were high, the heart was pumping and even when the zip, zipped up I still thought it’s not going to fit! I turned round to look in the mirror and couldn’t believe it! I looked pretty, I felt amazing, and the dress was everything and more than i ever imagined. The bridesmaids tried their dresses on, while I kept mine on to see it all together! It looked perfect, absolutely perfect!! My vision was in front of me.
Kelly is a fairly dressmother! If you go in the shop with and idea, she makes it happen! She will show you the style that suits you and compliments your body. Many people may say a wedding shop, just wants your money. This wedding shop, with the wonderful team behind that door, don’t do what they do because of money, a lot more goes into it, that money can’t buy.
They are there to make your dream ideas turn into a reality. They work hard at what they do and make everything perfect for you and all your individual needs and ideas! Kelly wasn’t just a lady in a shop selling pretty dresses. She was my therapist at times, dream catcher and the main thing she did for me was give me confidence within my body and made me feel absolutely incredible on my wedding day.
The communication was always 100% The service you receive is platinum. They are understanding, polite and just incredible. I absolutely highly recommend Kelly and her team! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for everything you did for me and my wedding party! Cant wait to come back in the future for a special occasion!!

I visited Any Occasion today looking for a mother of the bride outfit. What a wonderful experience this was. Jax made my daughter and I so welcome and at ease. She helped me into several beautiful outfits and offered advice and help where needed. I did not feel pressured and have been able to go away and reflect on the dresses. I wanted to update my review having now been through the full ‘Any Occasion’ experience! I cannot thank Kelly and her team enough for everything they have done for me from initial visit to purchase of a beautiful outfit and hat and finally to fitting, alteration and steaming. Nothing has been too much trouble and I was made to feel welcome relaxed and valued. We are so lucky to have such a fabulous boutique in our town and I urge anyone looking for that special outfit to book an appointment.
If I could give 6 stars I would!!

I can't rate the service provided by Kelly and Helen for my wedding last November highly enough. I was nervous about dress shopping and they were really friendly and put me at ease right from the start. When I couldn't make my mind up they were endlessly patient and encouraged me to try my shortlist of dresses on several times to make sure I was happy and found the perfect one. They also helped with accessories and taught my sister how to tie the bows for my shoes. The final alterations made my dress look like it had been made for me. Thank you so much 🙂

I cannot thank Kelly enough for the help and support she gave me in finding a mother of the bride outfit to shine in. I received many compliments on the outfit. Kelly completely put me at ease and made what could have been a stressful experience (I am difficult to fit) into a relaxed one. Kelly's attention to detail and advice on what to wear for accessories was first rate. The hatinator was perfect! I would highly recommend Any Occasion boutique to my friends.

Very disappointing experience. Have driven past the shop many times and seen lovely dresses in the window. Also had a recommendation from a close friend. Got very excited to take my mum in there one morning to have a look around and try dresses on and was not greeted well. We didn’t have an appointment and said this to the lady who said that was fine. The women said we had half an hour to try on dresses as they had a VIP appointment which we were very happy with as we’d picked two dresses. As we walked towards the dressing room the woman then turned round and said no sorry you can’t try them on today actually. Took the dresses off us and left us both very awkward in the dress shop. No hospitality, not greeted politely, what should have been a really lovely shop to look for mother of the bride dress turned into a really upsetting and disappointing trip. The lady who dealt with us was VERY rude.

Really unhappy with the service, mannerisms of a staff member and whole experience there. We went to try mother of the bride dresses on with our mother. We were told it’s fine that we didn’t have an appointment, we had 30minuets and we said that’s fine we would like to quickly try on 2/3 dresses and we’d be out within the half an hour slot. Upon going to the dressing room, dresses were swooped away and the lady saying actually we can’t try them on, she took them and hung them up, leaving it very awkward. Very rude, unwelcoming and will not be recommending or returning to the shop. Even though we had high hopes upon a recommendation to purchase the perfect dress.
