Thank you so much to Lucy for altering my wedding dresses in Aug 2024!

I wanted a vintage 1930s style dress and ended up buying one off eBay which needed to be altered to fit me. Lucy did an amazing job shortening the dress and train, redoing the bust completely and taking some flowers off the back off the dress and adding to the side of the bust so I was more secure. I couldn’t be happier with how the dress turned out and felt so comfortable wearing it on the day. You couldn’t even tell it had been altered, you did such an amazing job.

I also had an evening gown I bought second had altered by Lucy for my wedding reception, which I really appreciate you doing as it had thousands of beads on and needed dropping 2 dress sizes and shorting. It looked stunning and I wish you could have heard the room “roar” in celebration as we entered before our 1st dance, everyone loved the dress and said how perfect it was.

Thanks so much for all your hard work! Your seamstress skills are exemplary.

I was looking for an off the peg bridal gown, which flattered my new post baby body shape and made me feel like a queen and Anna and her team did not disappoint. I was made to feel so welcome, we tried on a few different styles and the team helped me find something that flattered and felt comfortable as well as fabulous. There were a couple of alterations which were done quickly and efficiently, nothing was too much trouble, and I was kept up to date throughout. We also chose to get my hair accessory and bridal shoes from Anna‘a too, she stocks a wide range of Rainbow bridal shoes, I kept mine cream but they can be dyed to match any colour. The hair accessories and veils are gorgeous too. 100% recommend supporting this independent bridal couturier whether you’re designing from scratch or buying off the peg as I did.

I was drawn to having my bridal gown designed and made by Anna Couture brides, firstly due to their incredible window displays. When I had my first appointment on the premises, I knew I’d made the right decision. My needs and desires were always taken into consideration every step of the way and both Anna and Lucy’s knowledge and expertise in designing and making my gown was more than I could ever have dreamt of. I can’t thank them enough for their incredible workmanship in creating the gown of my dreams; cannot recommend highly enough.

Not a bride, but Anna designed a jacket for my mother and hit it out of the park. She understood the brief and worked magic with the somewhat unusual fabric my mother had chosen. She was patient and realistic when it came to the budget and did the best thing possible when it comes to customer garments, under promise, over deliver.
I would jump at the chance to be one of her clients again….just need the ring first….!

I reached out to Anna and immediately knew I wanted my dress from there. Lucy and Anna have been so welcoming and wonderful throughout this whole process. My dress was handmade and was done by such an incredible standard I couldn’t believe it. It was everything I wished for and more, nothing was too much trouble! I got my shoes and veil form there also and I just couldn’t recommend it more. I felt like a princess and it’s all thanks to the wonderful Anna Couture Boutique! 💕

I was very impressed with the highly personalized level of service that I received at this shop. For my elopement I ordered a dress online which was quite cheap and although I loved it, it really didn't fit right. I called Anna Couture and they were very friendly and told me to bring the dress in. When I arrived they made me feel so comfortable and at ease and assured that they would make the dress work, they never made me feel less important because I wasn't buying a dress at their shop. They fixed the dress and made it perfect! I bought a beautiful belt there as well, and I was so happy with the whole experience. They literally saved my wedding dress, thank you Anna Couture!
