Very friendly & knowledgeable family run business. The lady helped me choose the right carpet without any pressure to purchase. I also feel my carpet will be fitted well & professionally as this family run carpet shop have their reputation at stake more so than the big companies who often sub-contract inexperienced fitters.

Not overly impressed, the fitters cut through two cables whilst fitting the underlay 🙁 Do Ampthill carpets use their own fitters or contract out ? I would be hesitant to use again.

Had new carpet upstairs and moduleo flooring put downstairs in my two bed house. Lee and Louise made the process smooth and painless from start too finish. Top quality work finished on time and with no drama. Would throughly reccomend to anyone! Excellent company.

Congratulations on getting my first honest and accurate review removed by Google. I can understand why you were keen to do so as it described how you treated me. As you know, you treated me with foul language and inappropriate references to disabled people.

I have used you twice in the last couple of years. To be fair, the first time you did offer a measurement service, which I accepted, and I was happy with the product and service. The second time, because you were in a hurry to shut the shop, you did not offer a measurement service.

Lou did offer initially to resolve the problem which I accepted. This was then countered by a call with Lee where he retracted the offer which was laced with the verbal abuse as described above.

Regardless of the cause of the problem, it's the inexcusable way in which it was dealt with that has prompted me to leave this review.
