Went to the pool and was immediately met with a waft of unpleasantly cold air. The pool was disheartening and made me loose my will to swim. I got stuck in the slide as it is not very steep, and I had to walk down it which was very embarrassing. The floor was disgusting and had remnants of unknown substances. Overall this was an experience best described as cold and disappointing.

Visited on a bowls tournament. You don't have to pay for parking. Give reception your car reg and you get 3 hours free parking.
Make sure they get it correct as you'll have a ticket if not. Luckily the ticket was retracted as it was due to human error.

Hunstanton was basically shut for low season / it was raining in October.
This was one of the very few places open catering for kids.
We went in and sat down.
It took quite a while to order due to some kind of confusion between staff about who was doing what, and a not very helpful at all family in front of us giving the poor girl on the till a hard time.
Got our order and ate within 10 minutes.

Usual leisure centre/ soft play menu. Cheesy chips. Sandwiches. Tea, coffee, soft drinks. A selection of hot food too.

We could see the pool from the canteen. Seemed to be busy.

We went into the soft play which cost £6.50. We entered at 2pm and had a slot until 3:30pm.

Soft play area was decent. Multi level, lots of ramps and climbing stuff. Two air cannons at the top. A decent slide chute to keep most young kids entertained. The place recommends four years old and up.

The place was FREEZING cold!

I had zero connection to the internet through my phone provider. So it became a slog of looking out at the rainy sea, or getting up and moving about to keep warm and try and failing to get any connection on my phone.
The kids loved it though, so it was technically a win.

Decent enough. Could do with a bit better organisation in the canteen area.

Good size pool with a slide. Staff are all friendly. Only downside is the temperature, the flooring is really cold ,the water is cool and so is the air temperature. We lasted about an hour before we got to cold and had to go. When taking younger children, maybe wear a swim top to keep a bit warmer.

Rang up to book spaces but was informed we do not need to book. Turned up and the gentleman on the desk was very helpful. Everywhere was clean and tidy. We spent a couple of hours here with the kids going down the slide time and time again, and throwing a beach ball around. Only complaint is that the toilet area is very cold once you've been in the pool.

Very impressed.
Yesterday, the Cafe was the meeting place for 3 of us.
Great view over the Prom directly out to sea.
Busy with people from Classes held in the centre that morning however didn't have to queue.
Great Hot Chocolate.
Was saddened to say on all the years that I have lived in the area, I hadn't been in the Cafe before.
I will be returning 👍

Visited today with my 4 and 1 year old whilst on holiday. This is the coldest indoor swimming pool I have ever visited and our visit today was really unpleasant as a result. My 1 year olds hands and arms turned purple, when you get out the air temperature is also too cold and the showers were luke warm at best. The changing cubicles were very run down and tired too and part of the wall was broken in the one we went into.

We visited on a rainy Saturday for the family fun session, which runs 4-6pm (slightly odd timing for a weekend in half-term but nevermind). The three "stars" are because the kids had a great time playing with the floats and pool noodles and really enjoyed the water slide. There were always at least two lifeguards on duty at all times.

However the facilities are overall really quite tired and dated. The lockers only take 20p pieces and you don't get your money back. Several of them wouldn't lock and just ate our money, and when my partner went to ask the receptionist for more change (giving her a £1 coin) she tried to give him just two 20ps back and was quite grumpy when he asked for more! We needed three lockers as they are quite small, and it being miserable outside we had four coats plus swimming stuff to stow away. The key wristbands had locker numbers written on in marker pen and it wasn't particularly easy to read as parts had rubbed off. Likewise some of the locker numbers were missing.

The showers and toilets were a bit grim when we arrived, the toilets in particular had bits of tissue everywhere and I felt pretty uncomfortable going in there in bare feet. Changing "rooms" were also a bit gross and all seemed to have a big puddle of freezing cold water exactly where you want to stand and get changed! We did see the changing areas and the showers being hosed down a couple of times by staff so that was good, but we clearly arrived at a bad time!

The pool is good for kids, not too big or too deep at any point. I found the water a bit on the cool side but it wasn't freezing. We stayed for about an hour and a half and it definitely got a lot quieter around 5pm which was nice and meant our kids got a chance at the bigger floats. Overall we had fun but just wish it was a bit less grubby and had some investment, it's in a great location and could be so much nicer.
