A lot of problems with this company. Although I have a contract it is not even close to being fulfilled. All the answers I get (hardly) from them are evasive and never solve the problem. Always the same pathetic promises and excuses.
I do not recommend working with this company. It is a disgrace! They have absolutely no respect for their collaborators.

Edit: That's right, I was only told that you were wrong but didn't fix the problem. So, therefore, I stand by my statement unequivocally.

Edit: I gave up on distribution sales a long time ago, but I keep seeing these pathetic sales again.
When I asked you (again) why they are still included, you replied that it was probably "a mistake."
A few weeks later, I have the same problem again. Who would still believe you? You're only after money, fooling people.
You're deceiving the very ones who made you what you are—us, the photographers.
Shame on you!

I am reading more and more about this parasitical company who claim rights over photos owned by the public domain. They need their wings clipping asap before all our historic photos are covered with their viral 'a's all over them. They are the worst type of commercial enterprise, one that has no other goal there than to make money, regardless of the consequences to others.

I received a CEASE AND DESIST notice on a picture I took, of my students, infront of a building I rent.

A truly appalling company, arrogant beyond belief, still owe me money after almost five months of notifying me of a legacy payment after closing my contributor account months earlier. They don't dispute they owe the payment - they just will not pay it.

I wrote a personal letter of complaint to their CEO Clive Marshall and have not even had the courtesy of an acknowledgement.

If you are a contributor to Alamy, or considering becoming one, I would advise you to think long and hard as to whether you want to trust your images to such a shyster outfit.

I closed the account because of their awful contributor contract - the best decision I have made in a long while.

Definitely not recommended.

I love Alamy sales team, they are very friendly and they put the photographer's first in their agendas with 50/50 split returns. This is great to know that they don't do business just for profit. They support also great charities and promote students work. As a client we are also pampered and any requests is dealt promptly. Thank you Alamy!

As a photographer and visual designer in marketing in the healthcare industry, sometimes we're asked to come up with hard-to-find image solutions pertaining to a very specific criteria, and the only place I was able to find applicable photos anywhere on the web was here on Alamy. I needed an image alluding to the medical requirements around sterile processing gowns and staff protective attire. Here's the shot we ended up choosing and ultimately purchasing.

I run a site on Facebook and your representative from Alarmy, Forest Green, threatened us with legal action because an admin of the group put one of your pictures up in error. Our site is free and is done for the common good, but we removed the picture immediately when we were informed.

Why your staff feel it is necessary to threaten people with legal action over such minor matters is beyond me. But you will be getting all the negative publicity I can arrange now.
