I ordered the Akoma essentials including the bar of soap, liquid soap, Shea butter and other bits, and I’m so impressed!! Everything was packaged so neatly and environmentally friendly, the black soap gets make up off soooo easily and makes your face so soft, not to mention the liquid (it is very liquidy by the way aha) soap lathers up so well with the sponge that a little goes a very long way! That, along with the clay mask, Shea butter and lip balm, means I’m sitting here feeling very soft and smooth so will definitely be buying from here again, for the foreseeable future!!xoxo

I discovered Akoma last year when looking for an ingredient supplier for my own range of skin care products. I have very sensitive skin and can only use products made from natural ingredients that don't have added synthetic chemicals. Akoma's oils and butters are excellent quality and best of all I don't react to them. The pricing is very competitive and the discounts are really good. I will continue to buy from Akoma.

It makes my skin so soft and I love the fragrance. It’s not highly fragranced you just feel fresh and clean after using it. Always super fast delivery too.

Further to what conversation? We have never had one before! So, hang on! What you are telling me is that you are more worried about a review than a purchase?! Why don't you worry about your business the same way you worried about this review? The time you took to report my previous review, you could have responded to my queries. I have contacted your company several times as I wanted to become a regular bulk buyer not only that but was also very excited to be supporting your company after I read the story behind Akoma and really wanted support your company, so that I could give back to my own anyways you have lost and looks like you are going to keep losing major potential customers!

Akoma have failed to respond to any of my messages, calls, etc... and have only responded to my review weeks later!

Akoma claims to support women in Ghana but how can one be supporting if they fail to even respond to potential buyers? In order to support these women regularly they need customers to be purchasing their products no? No one has responded to me at all! Thank God! I hadn't bought anything because if there was an issue there would be no one to resolve it! How does one send several messages, calls, emails without a response?!

Akoma clearly don't care and that's a shame as I really wanted to do business with this company and to be honest it has got me wondering if any of what they say on there website is even true like is this even legit?

Anyways people don't waste your time! There is far too much competition then to waste your time dealing with such an incompetent, unprofessional company!

So pleased with this brand! Their shea butter bar soaps are so amazing and moisturising! Originally came across Akoma at a beauty expo and can't get enough of their soaps and oils. I ordered more and it took 2 working days to ship. Thanks!

I absolutely love these products, especially the black soap foam. I got this for some of my friends as well in a second order. The products are packed professionally and I love the fact that this brand is certified organic and fair trade. Btw I am Caucasian and I find lots of stuff in this place for me, so there's no excuse! I am done with chemicals and whatnot that they put into mainstream products. On the other hand, I don't really like soap bars because my flatmates always destroy them (i know, ugh). So this company having liquid and foam black soap is just absolutely amazing. Thank you so much and you have gained a super happy and returning customer. I know my review sounds super cheesy but I don't have any affiliation with Almocado, I am really just a super happy customer. I don't often write this much on reviews, trust me, I'm hyped about this brand 😀

I have tried so many different shea butters and the one from Akoma is by fare the best one. When I use it after the shower at night I wake up with super soft skin and receive a lot of compliments 😛 I tried another brand after Brexit and it wasn't the same...my skin even got dry and my eczema came back sooo yeah.... will keep purchasing from them for sure! Team is super nice 🙂
