A real undiscovered gem, pardon the pun! I came to Aimee with the idea of making my partners engagement ring, I designed it and booked in for a workshop with Aimee, the workshop was great fun and taking part in the process of making my partners ring was amazing to be a part of. The final ring exceeded my expectations so much, finished perfectly by Aimee, I am absolutely chuffed with it and so was my girlfriend who absolutely loves it. We entrusted her with a very special task—to take the diamond from my husband's late mother's ring and transform it into a cross necklace for my sister-in-law's 60th birthday. A truly fantastic experience, to make a beautiful engagement ring for my now fiancé with our best friend, a ring making enthusiast under the guidance of the patient and talented Aimee.
Aimee hosted us at her lovely workshop and gave us a fantastic experience, guiding us and encouraging us to do as much of the work as we felt comfortable with. I had planned the design and Aimee had done a significant amount of work to make sure we could get as much done and have a ring ready for casting, no mean feat in the time we had. Not only was she a fantastic instructor, but she bout up with the endless stream of emails I was sending to make sure that everything was perfect. We had a tight turnaround post ring making to get it cast and the stones set before the engagement day and Amy pulled out all of the stops to make it happen.
I would highly recommend Aimee and her jewellery making classes, especially if planning to make an engagement ring for your partner. She somehow helped us pull of a blinder of a ring and I have riding on the compliments since!
